Samya Rahmani is an Iraqi-Canadian actress who was born in England and raised between Jordan and Canada. She began acting at a young age on stage and continued throughout high school and university. Her passion for acting eventually led her to pursue formal training at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts and at the William Esper Studio NYC.

Samya's professional career took off when she participated in the short film "Child Bride," which screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019. Her professional resume includes a diverse range of roles in various successful television shows. She played a role in the series "Little America" on Apple TV+, a role in the comedy series "Woke" on Hulu, and made guest appearances in "Riverdale" and "Charmed" on The CW, as well as "Turner & Hooch" on Disney+. She can also be seen in her roles on Netflix in "The Night Agent" and "Firefly Lane". She recently had the opportunity to work on "Lucky Hank" starring Bob Odenkirk and directed by Oscar-winner Peter Farrelly. Samya's career continues to rise with leading roles in Arab projects such as the critically-acclaimed TV show "New Baghdad" directed by Mohanad Hayal, the multi-award winning feature film "Pomegranate" directed by Weam Namou, and the highly anticipated feature film "The Blind Ferryman" directed by Ali Toffan Al-Fatlawi.

Samya is a native English and Arabic speaker and is fluent in both Iraqi and Levantine dialects. She also speaks French and is a self-proclaimed Francophile.
