Biography

Carlos Molinero is a director and a script writer from Spain. His film Salvajes won a Goya 2001 for best adaptation, a Special Jury Mention at Mostra de Valencia, Best script and direction of photography at Tirant Diario of Levante awards. Altadis Award for New creators. Winner of Best script and direction award at Santo Domingo Film Festival, Special jury mention at Primer Plano Film Festival of Dijon. Nominated Price best new Directors at San Sebastián Film Festival, 2001. Nominated best Director Goya awards.

His film The Mist in the Palm Trees (La Niebla en las Palmeras) 2006. Was awarded best feature film and best direction at DiBa Festival in Barcelona and nominated at Tribeca Film Festival for best feature film.
