Rachel Benaissa

Rachel Benaissa is a French actress and writer based in London. As an actor her credits include TV series Normal People and This Way Up as well as Netflix film Irish Wish. As a writer, her dramedy feature script JULIET IS FINE placed in the top 10% of the 2020 & 2021 Academy Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship, as a Finalist in the 2021 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards and as a Genre Winner in the 2024 Outstanding Screenplays Feature Competition. Her TV pilot ANY THING ANY MORE landed her a spot on the shortlist of 25 writers for the 2024 BBC PILOT scheme and placed as a runner-up in the 2023 Outstanding Screenplays TV Pilot.
