    • Jo Min-ki was born on November 5, 1966 in Seoul, South Korea. He was an actor, known for The Great Seer (2012), Dalui Yeonin - Bobogyungsim Ryeo (2016) and Seondeok yeowang (2009). He was married to Sun-Jin Kim. He died on March 9, 2018 in Seoul, South Korea.

  • Jo, who made his debut as a theatrical actor in 1982, had successfully expanded his career, appearing in many TV dramas and movies.
  • Following Jo's death, it was announced he had written and sent a written apology on February 26, however his agency decided not to release it and instead released an official statement of apology.
  • On February 22, 2018, Jo Min-ki was accused of sexually harassing his students, which he initially denied. It was then revealed that he had resigned from a teaching post at Cheongju University, and dropped out of his upcoming drama Children of a Lesser God.
  • Shortly before his death, police announced that he was banned from leaving the country during the investigation.
  • He became the first fatal victim in South Korea's #MeToo movement which began in January after a female prosecutor claimed that she was sexually harassed by a drunken senior prosecutor in 2010.
