Sonny Barr's passion has always been film.
Growing up in a tough area of Portsmouth gave him the experience and back ground to later play his favorite role that of the villain. However, he has a great sense of humour and brings compassion to the more sensitive roles which he also enjoys playing. Following his move to London Sonny attended the James Rose school for acting and in his early career he was behind the camera on film sets performing various jobs adding to his experience and passion for film. Sonny made his screen debut in 2020 in the feature Set Roaring War and has appeared in other recent productions including The Chant of July and Eight Hundred Dollar Value.
