BBC's "Boarders" Will Return to Tubi For Season 2

It's almost back-to-school time: Tubi has announced it will continue to bring the critically acclaimed BBC Three coming-of-age series "Boarders” to North American subscribers for the series’ second season.

Written by BAFTA nominee Daniel Lawrence Taylor (“Timewasters)”, “Boarders” follows the lives of five talented Black teenagers from inner-city London as they navigate life at St. Gilbert’s, an elite boarding school. The second season reportedly will see a new era for the students at the school with an acting headmistress who wants them gone.

Craving more competition on the world stage post-Olympics? “RuPaul’s Drag Race” is back for its first installment of “Global All Stars” and announced a star-studded group of guest judges Thursday, as the show dips its toe in international waters.

In the first official trailer for the new franchise from the Emmy Award-winning “Drag Race” producers, several new and returning guest judges will make their mark on the iconic runway.

Resident judge Michelle Visage and director-choreographer Jamal Sims will join host RuPaul on the panel each week. Elite follows a group of teenagers who study at Las Encinas, a super-exclusive school attended by those with a lot of money and power in society. One of the biggest aspects of the teen drama is the culture clash between those with scholarships and the ones who pay to go to the school. This year’s event will be broadcast live to more than 150 countries on November 5 from the Paris Nord, the first time the ceremony has returned to Paris since 1995. The show will also be available in a number of international territories on Pluto TV and on-demand on Paramount+.

Who better than Kim Petras to uplift Sofía Reyes and Danna Paola’s goal of making Mexican pop global? On Thursday, the trio of pop stars released a remix of “Tqum,” or “Te Quiero un Montón,” which is Petras’ favorite song of the summer.

Mexico’s pop princesses Sofía Reyes and Danna Paola are joining forces for their newest single. On Friday, the two stars released “Tqum,” or “I love you a ton,” and it’s silly video, which captures the two crossing paths on the unluckiest flight imaginable.

The Spanish singer was set to travel to Mexico City to close out the first night of the two-day music festival but doctors ordered “absolute rest,” reports Deadline.

“Dear fans, much to my regret, it’ll be impossible for me to appear at the show tonight in Mexico,” read a statement in Spanish shared on Iglesias’s social platforms.

“I have pneumonia and doctors have advised absolute rest and have forbidden me to get on an airplane.”

Iglesias continued: “I am frankly sad to cancel this show in a country that has given me so much. I hope to recover fast and be able to be with you all in full form soon.”

Danna Paola is bringing her pop power to the United States for the first time. Rolling Stone can exclusively announce that the Mexican pop star will embark on her 10-stop XT4S1S Tour later this year.

“I can’t be happier and more excited about this news,” Paola tells Rolling Stone. “Bringing my music live for the first time to the U.S. is a dream come true and it is a very big door for me at this time of my career.”

Paola will kick off her tour in San Jose on Aug.

Ahead of the ceremony, the night will kick off with a preshow and red carpet special, Noche de Estrellas, at 7 p.m. Et.

Mexican actor David Zepeda and Venezuelan TV presenter Chiqui Delgado will serve as red-carpet hosts alongside Enamorándonos personalities Rafael Araneda and Ana Patricia Gámez. They will be joined by fashion and beauty experts Jomari Goyso and Yayis Villareal, who will cover all style moments and carpet looks.

Noche de Estrellas also will feature performances by Blessd, Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavarez as well as the announcement of two of the night’s winners.
