    • Binete Undonque is a Bissau Guinean and Portuguese actress who moves between Guinea-Bissau, Portugal and the United Kingdom. Graduated in acting at the Cascais Professional Theatre School (Portugal) and Giles Foreman Center for Acting School (England). Her experience as an actress has been strongly influenced by both theatre and cinema. In theatre she developed her practice with illustrious directors such as Rogério de Carvalho with the play "The Blacks" (2017); Zia Soares, through the play "The Scavenger's Laugh" (2021); Rodrigo Francisco, with the play "Beyond Caring" (2022); Peter Kleinert, through the play "Twelfth Night" (2022); Beatriz Batarda, with the play "C., Celeste and The First Virtue" (2023), among others. In the film industry, she starred in "Sabura" by Falcão Nhaga; "3 Mulheres" by Fernando Vendrell; "Nome" (2023) by Sana Na N'Hada. With (Nome, 2023), she was distinguished with the award for best actress at the International Pan-African Film Festival in Luanda (2023) and at the Internacional Images Film Festival for Woman in Harare (2023), and a special mention at the Independent International Film Festival of Bordeaux (2023). She is currently studying cinema at the School of Arts and Creative Industries at London South Bank University, in England.
