Shiraz Henry is a Writer, editor, cinematographer, director, and producer, who started his film career as a fashion photographer.
Henry was chief of photography for BNA Germany magazine from 2009 to 2014. His directorial debut was in the year 2012 with an experimental movie Beyond the 3rd Kind which was shot in Thailand and based on the tragic life of a ladyboy.
His second film as a writer & director, which was released in theatres was The dark secrets of Tonhi in the year 2014 after that Henry made many films, music videos, and documentaries Little boy was released in 2019 January a movie that was shot completely in Arunachal Pradesh.
Then at the time of the pandemic movie, Filmi Raasleela was released on OTT Hungama, Mxplayer, and many more reputed platforms. He also directed and edited a film in Nagaland, Mechanic Dada which premiered in NIIFF 2022 at Dimapur.
He has written more than 50 scripts and is currently working on a few movie projects including one in Australia with Hollywood actors.
All his movies have won many national and international awards for Best Director, best writer, and best movie.
