Biography

Paromita started her career as a junior Radio Jockey when she was 10 as an intern competitor, Paromita started learning the art of theatre at the age of 11. Since then she has worked in different plays in Kolkata and overseas.

In 2008, She landed her first acting role for a Bengali daily soap . Eventually she started hosting stage shows all over India. She has also worked as a fashion producer for different fashion houses who has experience in styling the background, art direction and stylist for the artist.

In 2018, she was first seen playing a supportive character role in the web series "Tumse Na Ho Payega". Her character over here is of a self confident woman named Rachel and she is the receptionist of the office. "Tumse Na Ho Payega" was released and streaming on Eros Now app.

In 2019, Paromita featured in "Hostel Daze" on Amazon prime , where she is playing a character called Kavita Aunty.

In 2020, she had back to back releases like "Missing Condoms" and "The Bonkers" "Lips Don't Lie" and also "Crackdown" . Paromita is also into creative content creation and also into content development, as a writer, including this she has done her graduation under Calcutta university with journalism major.

In her personal life she is an amazing dance performer and also she has an amazing musical sense so she love to connect her lyrics which touches your soul.

Paromita is from Kolkata, Single child of Mrs Mamata Dey and Mr Ashoke Dey. From 2014 onward, she resides in Mumbai .
