    • Beth Hornby is a Canadian screen actor from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She began acting in 2018 following a successful career in journalism and sports communications. Beth has since appeared in a range of projects including Star Trek, The Handmaid's Tale, Dark Side of the Ring, Five Days at Memorial, and The Jane Mysteries. She has also acted in numerous national and international commercials.

      Beth attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis where she received a full NCAA scholarship on the women's rowing team. At the peak of her athletic career, she was recognized by Rowing Canada as Female Sculler of the Year, and the University of Minnesota's rowing MVP.

      She went on to write and edit amateur sports news for NBC and CBC. Then during her tenure as website editor for Vancouver2010.com, Beth created and hosted the official video and audio podcasts of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. She interviewed athletes, delegates, and other extraordinary individuals with inspiring stories. Having enjoyed the on-camera hosting experience, Beth returned to university for broadcast journalism studies and continued working with video.

      Today Beth supports various film festivals and sports organizations, with the initiative of encouraging diversity and inclusion. She presently resides in Toronto, Ontario with her husband and children.
