Abhishek Singh, known for his portrayal of ACP Javed Khan in the Zee5 original - Judgement Day, was born in Kolkata, West Bengal in India. He has a Haryanvi-Bengali heritage, a curious mix of North and East Indian traits, which have aided his rise in both the Bengali and Hindi industries. He has lived in India and the Middle-East. Early Life: Abhishek Singh was born in Kolkata. His has a cross-cultural background with a Haryanvi father and a Bengali mother. He studied at Sherwood College, Nainital, a boarding school he was sent to at the tender age of seven. Even at school, he was a part of the dramatics society and acted in many plays including a rendition of Agatha Christies' Ten Little Niggers... And Then There Were None' which was performed at the Kala Mandir, Kolkata. After school, he got into law studies while simultaneously modelling for various brands. At the completion of his studies, he had signed two films in Bombay but decided to put his acting plans on ice for lucrative job opportunity as a legal counsel in Dubai. Acting Career: In 2017, Abhishek Singh returned to the world of acting. His first stint was in a big banner Bengali film - Cockpit. Thereafter, he has acted in a multitude of films and web-series, and also been seen regularly on the theatre stage. In 2018, he played the character of Upen, a lead in a highly-viewed web-series Charitraheen, that made him a household name on the OTT universe. In 2019, he played a professional hacker in the acclaimed movie Password while shooting for Judgement Day, a Zee5 original in which he had been cast as the lead. In 2020, he came on people's devices as the unforgettable hero, ACP Javed Khan (Judgement Day). In 2020 he was also cast in the lead of Mismatch 3, a superhit comedy franchise going on season 3. The webseries saw him appear in a completely different avatar of an eccentric director. In the same year, Abhishek Singh has also worked as one of the male leads in a hindi film - Venganza, which is due to release in 2021. Abhishek Singh is a proficient guitarist and has always described music as his "soul". His early morning space is taken by Mixed Martial Arts which he is trained in and continues to practice. Known as an enigmatic person of a few words and a thorough professional, Abhishek Singh holds the utmost repute in the industry circles.
