The ladies of The View kicked off their Wednesday, July 9, show with a conversation about artificial intelligence, and it eventually led Whoopi Goldberg to put her cohost Joy Behar on blast. Toward the end of the discussion, Goldberg admitted, “I don’t like AI, personally. It’s not a thing for me. I don’t like it. I had to deal with [Amazon] Alexa. I was like, ‘I don’t want her.’ So when she came out, I don’t use her.” That’s when Behar jumped in and said, “They listen to what you’re saying, too,” and Goldberg pointed out that since she doesn’t have an Alexa, there’s no one “present” to listen. Behar then picked her phone up off the desk and said, “Something is listening on this phone.” Goldberg didn’t miss a beat before asking, “Why is your phone here?” which caused the other women to laugh.

The Thursday, June 26, episode of The View featured a Hot Topics segment where the women discussed a recent surge in the use of matchmaking services and decline in online dating. This prompted Joy Behar to share her own matchmaking story involving her daughter, Eve Behar, and an employee on The View. “I like to match people up,” Behar shared. “I once tried to match my former assistant up with somebody and we looked him up, it turned out he was a criminal. So you have to do your due diligence.” That prompted Sunny Hostin to ask, “Didn’t you hook your daughter up with Paul, our stage manager?” Behar confirmed, “Paul went out with my daughter years ago. He did.” The conversation got a bit steamy from there as Hostin wondered, “There was a hookup, right, Paul?” The cameras panned to Paul, who was shaking his head and reiterating that this all happened years ago.

Ozempic may be a diabetes medication, but these days, it’s also the star of some surprisingly spicy daytime TV conversations.
Case in point: a recent episode of The View where a chat about Ozempic’s infamous side effects took an unexpectedly cheeky turn—complete with celebrity banter, unexpected confessions, and Joy Behar doing what she does best: cracking jokes.
A Side Effect Sparks Side-Splitting Jokes
When actor and comedian Mario Cantone dropped by The View on June 20, 2025, the energy on set was already electric.
Moments before his arrival, the co-hosts had been diving into what they called the “Ozempic penis” phenomenon—an alleged side effect of the medication where some men report genital enlargement. It’s unproven, of course, but ripe for on-air teasing.
By the time Cantone joined the conversation, the panel was warmed up and ready for more laughs.

If you’re headed to the table at “The View,” be warned by its hosts: Joy Behar may be your personal paparazzi. And apparently, she’s a “snooper” too.
The ABC hosts busted their colleague for her habits on Wednesday’s episode of the show, as Behar teed up a discussion originally pegged to disgraced former congressman Matt Gaetz having a text conversation with his mother posted online for all to see.
A person sitting behind him on a plane captured a video of Gaetz scrolling through the conversation, in which his mother told him not to turn on Donald Trump, visible because the text size was so large. As Behar shamed Gaetz for not being more aware of his surroundings, host Sara Haines poked fun at Behar herself.

The Wednesday, June 25, episode of The View began with the cohosts discussing Donald Trump and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s new feud, which began after she publicly called him out for bombing Iran, prompting him to call her “stupid” and “one of the dumbest people in Congress.” Joy Behar began the conversation by pointing out, “[Trump] really doesn’t like strong women. He likes dutiful, obedient women who compliment him. Even back in the day, I used to do jokes about his hair. Every male comedian did jokes about his hair, but he went after me.” Behar’s main question to her cohosts was whether they believe young democrats like Aoc are finding the voice that’s connecting with people. While Sunny Hostin felt this was the case, Alyssa Farah Griffin disagreed. “Donald Trump is dying to have this fight [with Aoc],” she said. “He wants to make her the face of the Democratic ...

Even if you have an Egot, it doesn't mean you can stop collecting awards! On the Monday edition of The View, Friday moderator Joy Behar announced that Whoopi Goldberg would be absent this week as she'll be in Italy to collect a prestigious award.
“We are all jealous of Whoopi today because she’s in Italy — I hope it’s 100 degrees…She’s in Italy accepting an award for her book Bits and Pieces, so she will be out this week,” the long-time co-host revealed after easing viewers' minds.
With Whoopi out, Ana Navarro will be sitting in for the week in Behar's usual spot. But have no fear, Whoopi will return to the Hot Topics' table on July 7th following the traditional July 4th summer break.

“Saturday Night Live” alum Jay Pharoah stopped by “The View” on Monday morning, but his interview got off to a bit of a blunt start, as host Joy Behar joked that he needed to “shut up” so she could actually start it.
Indeed, as Pharoah took his spot at the table — he’s now hosting Fox’s game show “The Quiz With Balls” — his interview did not start as quickly as some others do. Instead, he offered pleasantries to each of the ABC hosts, complimenting not only the supplies they had on the table (including mints and cough drops), but also their outfits.
Pharoah offered an individual compliment to each woman before landing on Behar, and greeting her with a “What’s up Joy, how you doing?”

Joy Behar took a little time to list off some of the many firsts Donald Trump has had as president during Thursday morning’s episode of “The View,” including being the first president to pay hush money to a porn star. But co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin was quick to counter that.
To kick off the day’s Hot Topics, the ABC hosts discussed the fact that Trump recently scored a new first, after the NAACP announced that they would not be extending an invite to the president to their national convention. It’s a historic move, marking the first time the White House has not received an invite since 1909.
“Well, I have a list of other firsts that Donald Trump has achieved. Would you like to hear them?” Behar asked, after both Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin voiced their support for the NAACP’s decision.

So far in his second term as president, Donald Trump has spent roughly 25% of his time golfing. And according to James Patterson and Bill Clinton, Trump definitely cheats when he plays, even if he doesn’t need to.
The duo stopped by “The View” on Thursday morning in support of their new fiction thriller “The First Gentleman,” with Patterson poking fun at the irony of writing on that particular topic with Clinton. The former president conceded that First Gentleman was indeed the only political job he’s ever wanted and didn’t get.
But, as the conversation went on, host Joy Behar pointed out that Clinton and Patterson, who are now vocal critics of Trump, have gone golfing with the man before. So, her question was simple: “Is he any good?”
The men immediately conceded that yes, Trump is a good golfer, which didn’t surprise Whoopi Goldberg. “What else does he do?...

As Donald Trump continues to hand out pardons to convicted criminals, the president noted on Monday that he would consider pardoning disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, depending on the circumstances. And with that admission, “The View” host Joy Behar is pretty sure that Trump would even pardon a known serial killer.
To kick off Tuesday’s Hot Topics, the ABC hosts dug in on Trump’s recent pardons, including that of Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were charged by the first Trump administration with tax and bank fraud and later convicted. For host Sara Haines, it flew in the face of Trump’s rage against a “two-tiered” justice system.

Earlier this week, Donald Trump took a look at the case of Todd and Julie Chrisley… skimmed over the fact that they were found guilty of tax evasion and financial fraud of a jury of their peers… and basically decided:
Hey, they’re rich and white and they like me! They shouldn’t be in prison!
President Trump then issued a pardon for the Chrisleys.
As you might expect, such a decision has garnered quite a bit of backlash.

Donald Trump pardoned convicted fraudsters and fellow former reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley on Tuesday, drawing ire from the hosts of “The View” on Wednesday morning. For the ABC hosts, it’s just further proof that “there is a huge ‘For Sale’ sign on the lawn of the White House.”
The Chrisleys were originally charged with tax evasion and bank fraud back in 2019, during the first Trump administration. Teeing up the discussion on Wednesday, moderator Whoopi Goldberg was visibly exhausted and bothered, asking “is anybody going to have a problem with this, or — because this is the law and order president — or are people already numb to this?”
Host Joy Behar definitely had a problem with it though.

After presenting a bad review from Joe Biden’s granddaughter and The Daily Show, Goldberg asked the panel, “Should anonymous sources who talked to Tapper have spoken up about their concerns while he was in office? Last year, “The View” host Joy Behar revealed that she accidentally sent a congratulatory email meant for Jimmy Kimmel (following his Oscars hosting gig) to Jimmy Fallon. But, on Tuesday morning, Fallon himself denied that happened — so the ABC host whipped out her phone to prove it.

Before they could get to that, though, Behar had a quick Donald Trump joke to share with the crowd. “What do you want to bet Trump says the election was stolen?” she said — referring to Trump’s false assertions that he didn’t lose to Joe Biden in 2020 — earning laughter from her cohosts and the studio crowd. In his first U.S. sitdown interview since leaving office, Joe Biden said that he was not surprised when Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris and won the 2024 election.
“I was very disappointed, but I was not surprised,” Biden told the hosts of ABC’s The View.
He said that didn’t mean that he thought that Harris was the most qualified to be president. Instead, he said that the Trump team “went the sexist route” by casting doubt that a woman can be president, and also by playing the race card.
“I have never seen as successful and quite as consistent a campaign undercutting the notion that a woman couldn’t lead the country, and a woman of mixed race,” Biden said.
He also said that “we underestimate the the phenomenal impact that Covid and the pandemic” had, as the disruptions continued to impact voters views of the country.

Donald Trump has set a historic low for presidential approval ratings after his first 100 days in office, but “Late Night” writer and almost-White House Correspondents’ Dinner headliner Amber Ruffin would “strongly disagree” with the idea that he has done a bad job.
Ruffin stopped by “The View” on Wednesday morning, and while there, host Joy Behar brought up the many polls indicating that Trump’s approval rating continues to slip, asking for Ruffin’s take on it. But the comedian’s answer surprised the audience for just a moment.
“People are saying that Trump did a bad job 100 days in; I strongly disagree,” she said.
“This man has done everything he has set out to do,” she continued. “I’m Black, I’m terrified. I’m scared for my trans friends, and people who we know and love, our neighbors, are disappeared. And that was the goal, and he did it.

Joy Behar is certainly no fan of Donald Trump, but after watching another contentious interview — this time on ABC News — of his, the host of “The View” is actually “starting to feel sorry” for the president.
The ABC host shocked her colleagues on Wednesday morning with the sentiment, as the women discussed Trump’s interview, during which he complained that journalist Terry Moran was “not being very nice” by pushing back on lies. In discussing their thoughts on it, Behar noted she watched the entire interview, and came to a surprising conclusion.
“I’m really starting to feel sorry for him. He’s over his head,” she said. “The simplest questions, he can not answer. He knows that only immigration is maybe where he’s been somewhat successful.”
In reality, a new Washington Post-abc News-Ipsos poll indicates that Trump’s approval rating on immigration specifically has actually fallen in recent weeks.

Joy Behar has clapped back at those fans who complain whenever The View airs reruns in place of new episodes. The View took a break last week for the Easter holidays, meaning Behar and her co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro had the week off. In its place, the long-running daytime talk show aired old episodes. “Oh is this a repeat? If so I can tune out Lol,” wrote one X user last week. “Today is a damn repeat ?! #TheView” said another. “It would be nice if you all would tell us when you are going off and wish us a Happy Easter. You didn’t fool us,” another added. “Didn’t get the memo that this program would be in reruns all week,” said one YouTube commenter. Brian Teta, the executive producer of The View, and Behar, addressed the complaints on Tuesday...

Whoopi Goldberg knows how to make a splash no matter what continent she is on.
While The View is on a lengthy hiatus for spring break, the ladies are getting some much-needed time off, and Whoopi is taking full advantage of it.
Whoopi often travels to Italy when she’s not working on The View or other side projects, such as her prosecco and Thc products
Although she hates flying, she will brave the skies for her beloved Sardinia, Italy, where she has a vacation home.
This vacation for Whoopi has not only been fun downtime. She is also doing an interview here and there for kicks and giggles before studying for her part in Joy Behar’s My First Ex-Husband.
Little is known about the next installment in Whoopi’s Sister Act franchise, Sister Act 3, but Whoopi spoke about it on Che tempo che fa, a popular Italian talk show.

After announcing a 90-day pause on his tariffs last week, President Donald Trump made a series of adjustments to the presidential portraits in the grand White House entrance hall.
His latest addition to the grand foyer is a colorful painting of himself in the moments after last year’s attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania. The portrait shows his face bloody from his injured ear, his fist raised in triumph. In order to display the portrait, Trump moved a modernistic portrait of Barack Obama across the hall, replacing one of George W. Bush. Bush’s portrait was moved into the stairway that leads to the private residence.
The painting of Trump is slated to stay in the foyer for a few months before being replaced by a more traditional portrait. Trump has also ordered a big painting of Abraham Lincoln to be moved out on the stairway into the cross hall...

It looks like The View has quietly slipped into a short hiatus, and as usual, fans are buzzing with questions. Whispers about the future of key co-hosts—including the ever-iconic Whoopi Goldberg—are growing louder, especially as contract renewal details remain under wraps.

Joy Behar was in high spirits during Friday’s episode of The View, but it seemed the studio audience wasn’t quite matching her enthusiasm. Never one to hold back, Behar wasted no time in calling them out.
Details About The Show
The show began with a discussion about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s recent exchange with a British reporter.
When asked about a leaked Signal chat involving Trump officials and military plans, Greene dismissed the journalist by saying, “We don’t give a crap about your opinion and your reporting,” after confirming she wasn’t from the United States.
The comment sparked reactions from the panel, with Behar questioning, “What’s all this hostility toward the allies?”
She pointed out that travel to the U.S. from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa had dropped by 12.8% compared to the previous year.

Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. publicly body-shamed West Virginia governor Patrick Morrisey at an event over the weekend, and on Tuesday morning, the hosts of “The View” were appalled.
Speaking at a “Make America Healthy Again” event, Kennedy admitted that the first time he met Morrissey, he told the man, “You look like you ate Governor Morrisey.” The Hhs secretary then announced that he will be serving as a personal trainer to Morrisey.
“Raise your hand if you want Governor Morrisey to do a public weigh-in once a month,” Kennedy asked the crowd. “And then when he’s lost 30 pounds, I’m going to come back to the state and do a celebration and a public weigh-in with him.”

We’ve all heard and said enough of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s shortlived marriage. The original naysayers of the stars’ second-chance love story are telling us they called it from the get-go.
The believers, like myself, are convinced that there was love in their reconnection, but life happened. Whoopi Goldberg is convinced there was no love.
Whichever you think, you can admit that this topic is a complicated one, most of all for the two parties involved. In his recent GQ magazine interview, Affleck said he still has a lot of respect for Lopez.
If so, then why did he flee from home and block all Lopez’s attempts to communicate with him, you ask? The lack of communication, according to a Lopez source, was what made Lopez throw in the towel and file for the divorce. But hush, let the ladies of ‘The View’ try to make sense of this situation.

By day, Joy Behar is a cohost on The View, but at night — at least, for the last few weeks — she’s been hitting the stage with her off-Broadway comedy show My First Ex-Husband. Clearly, her time spent practicing her deliveries is coming in handy on the talk show because on Wednesday’s (March 26) episode, she caught her cohosts off guard with her quick wit about a decidedly unfunny subject. Once again, the first “Hot Topic” of the day was the Signal scandal, in which several cabinet members, including heads of the Department of Defense and national intelligence, accidentally included a journalist in their discussion of imminent military strike plans. This time, the cohosts were examining the fallout and the participants’ attempts to dial down the controversy of the matter during testimony before Congress and on Fox News. “Tulsi Gabbard wouldn’t even say that ‘T.G.’ on the chain was her,...

However, Behar said of The View co-hosts that Haines would do it, prompting Teta to call Haines during the podcast.
