‘The View’: Whoopi Goldberg Calls Out Joy Behar for Major Faux Pas (Video)
Image
The ladies of The View kicked off their Wednesday, July 9, show with a conversation about artificial intelligence, and it eventually led Whoopi Goldberg to put her cohost Joy Behar on blast. Toward the end of the discussion, Goldberg admitted, “I don’t like AI, personally. It’s not a thing for me. I don’t like it. I had to deal with [Amazon] Alexa. I was like, ‘I don’t want her.’ So when she came out, I don’t use her.” That’s when Behar jumped in and said, “They listen to what you’re saying, too,” and Goldberg pointed out that since she doesn’t have an Alexa, there’s no one “present” to listen. Behar then picked her phone up off the desk and said, “Something is listening on this phone.” Goldberg didn’t miss a beat before asking, “Why is your phone here?” which caused the other women to laugh.

Joy Behar Reveals She Tried to Set Up Daughter Eve With ‘The View’s Stage Manager
Image
The Thursday, June 26, episode of The View featured a Hot Topics segment where the women discussed a recent surge in the use of matchmaking services and decline in online dating. This prompted Joy Behar to share her own matchmaking story involving her daughter, Eve Behar, and an employee on The View. “I like to match people up,” Behar shared. “I once tried to match my former assistant up with somebody and we looked him up, it turned out he was a criminal. So you have to do your due diligence.” That prompted Sunny Hostin to ask, “Didn’t you hook your daughter up with Paul, our stage manager?” Behar confirmed, “Paul went out with my daughter years ago. He did.” The conversation got a bit steamy from there as Hostin wondered, “There was a hookup, right, Paul?” The cameras panned to Paul, who was shaking his head and reiterating that this all happened years ago.

Joy Behar’s Ozempic Dig at Guest on ‘The View’ Draws Criticism
Image
Ozempic may be a diabetes medication, but these days, it’s also the star of some surprisingly spicy daytime TV conversations.

Case in point: a recent episode of The View where a chat about Ozempic’s infamous side effects took an unexpectedly cheeky turn—complete with celebrity banter, unexpected confessions, and Joy Behar doing what she does best: cracking jokes.

A Side Effect Sparks Side-Splitting Jokes

When actor and comedian Mario Cantone dropped by The View on June 20, 2025, the energy on set was already electric.

Moments before his arrival, the co-hosts had been diving into what they called the “Ozempic penis” phenomenon—an alleged side effect of the medication where some men report genital enlargement. It’s unproven, of course, but ripe for on-air teasing.

By the time Cantone joined the conversation, the panel was warmed up and ready for more laughs.

‘The View’ Hosts Bust Joy Behar for Taking Photos of Celeb Guests Without Asking and Being a ‘Snooper’
Image
If you’re headed to the table at “The View,” be warned by its hosts: Joy Behar may be your personal paparazzi. And apparently, she’s a “snooper” too.

The ABC hosts busted their colleague for her habits on Wednesday’s episode of the show, as Behar teed up a discussion originally pegged to disgraced former congressman Matt Gaetz having a text conversation with his mother posted online for all to see.

A person sitting behind him on a plane captured a video of Gaetz scrolling through the conversation, in which his mother told him not to turn on Donald Trump, visible because the text size was so large. As Behar shamed Gaetz for not being more aware of his surroundings, host Sara Haines poked fun at Behar herself.

“Well it’s a good thing you don’t have those sorts of things on your phone Joy, because you do exactly that,...

‘The View’s Joy Behar Weighs In on Trump-aoc Feud: ‘Does He Even Know Who She Is?’
Image
The Wednesday, June 25, episode of The View began with the cohosts discussing Donald Trump and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s new feud, which began after she publicly called him out for bombing Iran, prompting him to call her “stupid” and “one of the dumbest people in Congress.” Joy Behar began the conversation by pointing out, “[Trump] really doesn’t like strong women. He likes dutiful, obedient women who compliment him. Even back in the day, I used to do jokes about his hair. Every male comedian did jokes about his hair, but he went after me.” Behar’s main question to her cohosts was whether they believe young democrats like Aoc are finding the voice that’s connecting with people. While Sunny Hostin felt this was the case, Alyssa Farah Griffin disagreed. “Donald Trump is dying to have this fight [with Aoc],” she said. “He wants to make her the face of the Democratic ...

Image
Even if you have an Egot, it doesn't mean you can stop collecting awards! On the Monday edition of The View, Friday moderator Joy Behar announced that Whoopi Goldberg would be absent this week as she'll be in Italy to collect a prestigious award.

“We are all jealous of Whoopi today because she’s in Italy — I hope it’s 100 degrees…She’s in Italy accepting an award for her book Bits and Pieces, so she will be out this week,” the long-time co-host revealed after easing viewers' minds.

With Whoopi out, Ana Navarro will be sitting in for the week in Behar's usual spot. But have no fear, Whoopi will return to the Hot Topics' table on July 7th following the traditional July 4th summer break.

‘The View’: Joy Behar Jokes Jay Pharoah Needs to ‘Shut Up’ So She Can Ask Him a Question
Image
“Saturday Night Live” alum Jay Pharoah stopped by “The View” on Monday morning, but his interview got off to a bit of a blunt start, as host Joy Behar joked that he needed to “shut up” so she could actually start it.

Indeed, as Pharoah took his spot at the table — he’s now hosting Fox’s game show “The Quiz With Balls” — his interview did not start as quickly as some others do. Instead, he offered pleasantries to each of the ABC hosts, complimenting not only the supplies they had on the table (including mints and cough drops), but also their outfits.

Pharoah offered an individual compliment to each woman before landing on Behar, and greeting her with a “What’s up Joy, how you doing?”

“Well, I’m waiting for you to shut up so I can ask you a question,” she retorted.

‘The View’: Why Is Whoopi Goldberg Absent From Show This Week?
Image
Fans of The View may have been surprised to see the panel did not include Whoopi Goldberg on Monday (June 23) morning, but Joy Behar revealed the reason the moderator and co-host was a no-show … and just how long she’ll be absent from the daytime talk show. At the top of the hour, Behar explained Goldberg’s absence by saying, “So we are all jealous of Whoopi today because she’s in Italy.” “I hope it’s 100 degrees,” she then joked before explaining further, “She’s in Italy accepting an award for her book Bits and Pieces, so she will be out this week. There’s the queen!” Goldberg herself shared a picture of her trip to Italy receiving the award at Taobuk, the Taormina International Book Festival. In the image, she appears onstage alongside a festival official. In her caption for the picture, she wrote, “Thank you (Grazie!) @taobukfestival...

‘The View’: Alyssa Farah Griffin Counters Trump Being First President to Pay Hush Money to a Porn Star | Video
Image
Joy Behar took a little time to list off some of the many firsts Donald Trump has had as president during Thursday morning’s episode of “The View,” including being the first president to pay hush money to a porn star. But co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin was quick to counter that.

To kick off the day’s Hot Topics, the ABC hosts discussed the fact that Trump recently scored a new first, after the NAACP announced that they would not be extending an invite to the president to their national convention. It’s a historic move, marking the first time the White House has not received an invite since 1909.

“Well, I have a list of other firsts that Donald Trump has achieved. Would you like to hear them?” Behar asked, after both Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin voiced their support for the NAACP’s decision.

‘The View’: James Patterson Takes Less Than a Second to Confirm Trump Cheats at Golf
Image
So far in his second term as president, Donald Trump has spent roughly 25% of his time golfing. And according to James Patterson and Bill Clinton, Trump definitely cheats when he plays, even if he doesn’t need to.

The duo stopped by “The View” on Thursday morning in support of their new fiction thriller “The First Gentleman,” with Patterson poking fun at the irony of writing on that particular topic with Clinton. The former president conceded that First Gentleman was indeed the only political job he’s ever wanted and didn’t get.

But, as the conversation went on, host Joy Behar pointed out that Clinton and Patterson, who are now vocal critics of Trump, have gone golfing with the man before. So, her question was simple: “Is he any good?”

The men immediately conceded that yes, Trump is a good golfer, which didn’t surprise Whoopi Goldberg. “What else does he do?...

‘The View’: Joy Behar Says Trump ‘Would Pardon Jack the Ripper If He Was Alive’
Image
As Donald Trump continues to hand out pardons to convicted criminals, the president noted on Monday that he would consider pardoning disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, depending on the circumstances. And with that admission, “The View” host Joy Behar is pretty sure that Trump would even pardon a known serial killer.

To kick off Tuesday’s Hot Topics, the ABC hosts dug in on Trump’s recent pardons, including that of Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were charged by the first Trump administration with tax and bank fraud and later convicted. For host Sara Haines, it flew in the face of Trump’s rage against a “two-tiered” justice system.

“The presidential pardon power, as Alyssa knows, is just, it’s such a significant, significant power,” host Sunny Hostin added. “It should be used with purpose and intentionality.”

‘The View’ Hosts Bluntly Ask About – and Poke Fun at – Anthony Weiner’s Sex Scandals Directly to Him | Video
Image
Former congressman and convicted sex offender Anthony Weiner stopped by “The View” on Friday morning, and while he was there, the ABC hosts pulled no punches when it came to addressing his past scandals.

To introduce the man, moderator Joy Behar (Whoopi Goldberg does not appear on the show on Fridays) reminded the audience of his “series of, shall we say, sexting scandals” and then wryly asked the audience to “please welcome the very contrite Anthony Weiner.” When Behar asked if “contrite” was the right adjective, Weiner agreed but immediately took the opportunity to swipe at a past political interview on the show.

“Yeah. By the way, was this where Kamala Harris was sitting when she blew up her campaign?” Weiner quipped. “Was this the spot? I hope I don’t have the same fate.”

"I got into recovery. I tried to make my life better. And now if I...

The View Has A Lot to Say About That Todd Chrisley Pardon
Image
Reading Time: 4 minutes

Earlier this week, Donald Trump took a look at the case of Todd and Julie Chrisley… skimmed over the fact that they were found guilty of tax evasion and financial fraud of a jury of their peers… and basically decided:

Hey, they’re rich and white and they like me! They shouldn’t be in prison!

President Trump then issued a pardon for the Chrisleys.

As you might expect, such a decision has garnered quite a bit of backlash.

“According to this administration, if you are a reality star with a lot of money, and a tax cheat, and you commit fraud, then that’s good,” said Joy Behar on Wednesday’s edition of The View.

The Chrisley Knows Best leads had been convicted in 2022 of bank fraud and tax evasion.

‘The View’ Hosts Scoff at Trump’s Chrisley Family Pardons: A ‘Huge For Sale Sign’ on White House Lawn | Video
Image
Donald Trump pardoned convicted fraudsters and fellow former reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley on Tuesday, drawing ire from the hosts of “The View” on Wednesday morning. For the ABC hosts, it’s just further proof that “there is a huge ‘For Sale’ sign on the lawn of the White House.”

The Chrisleys were originally charged with tax evasion and bank fraud back in 2019, during the first Trump administration. Teeing up the discussion on Wednesday, moderator Whoopi Goldberg was visibly exhausted and bothered, asking “is anybody going to have a problem with this, or — because this is the law and order president — or are people already numb to this?”

Host Joy Behar definitely had a problem with it though.

‘The View’ Cohosts Erupt Over Jake Tapper’s Biden Book Claims
Image
The first “Hot Topic” of the day on Tuesday’s (May 20) edition of The View devolved into a bit of a shouting session as the cohosts — Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin — weighed in on Jake Tapper‘s new book, Original Sin, which features claims that Democrats concealed Joe Biden‘s allegedly declining condition. After presenting a bad review from Joe Biden’s granddaughter and The Daily Show, Goldberg asked the panel, “Should anonymous sources who talked to Tapper have spoken up about their concerns while he was in office? And my other question is: Why is this important to know now?” Behar answered the latter first by insisting that it isn’t. “We got a lot of stuff to be concerned about at the moment. Trump’s atrocities, I’m going to list them for you,” she said before reading out that list: “Cutting Medicaid,...

‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Gets Vulnerable, Opens Up About Illness
Image
Despite battling a cold that left her noticeably hoarse, Whoopi Goldberg was back at The View table on Thursday, May 15, proving once again that the show’s heartbeat doesn’t skip easily—even when under the weather.

Goldberg, who had missed Wednesday’s episode, returned to join Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin for the show’s signature “Hot Topics” segment.

While her presence was a comfort to viewers, it was clear she wasn’t at her usual energetic self. Her voice, scratchy and subdued, gave it away.

While discussing Jake Tapper’s bombshell book “Original Sin,” which details former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline over the years and the Democratic Party’s supposed attempts to cover it up, “The View” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin called out the blue team as the main reason why President Donald Trump was able to make his return to the Oval Office.

“This table spends a lot of time criticizing Donald Trump, and a lot of it is very valid and needs to be happen, but it is a fact his approval rating is 39%,” Griffin explained on Friday’s episode. “However, Democrats’ is 27%. People felt gaslit and lied to.”

‘The View’s Joy Behar Jokes About Biden Not Recognizing George Clooney: ‘He Looks Different Lately’ (Video)
Image
During the first “Hot Topics” segment on Friday’s (May 16) episode of The View, the panelists (sans Whoopi Goldberg) discussed the new book Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again, which was written by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson. Alyssa Farah Griffin brought up a shocking claim made in the book: Joe Biden didn’t recognize George Clooney at a June 2024 fundraiser the actor was co-hosting while the former president was running for a second term. Griffin expressed how flabbergasted she was by the story, which prompted Joy Behar to quip, “Well, he looks different lately.” The audience roared in laughter, and Behar stood by her comment. “He does!” she confirmed. Behar introduced the topic of the book by playing a video of Tapper admitting that it was tough for him to get Democrats to speak on the record.

Whoopi Goldberg Explains Her Illness Live on ‘The View’
Image
After a one-day absence from The View‘s live panel, Whoopi Goldberg returned to the table on Thursday (May 15) to join cohosts Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin in their “Hot Topics” discussions. Only, she was a little worse for the wear, with an audibly scratchy voice. After the first group discussion, which centered on the controversial congressional testimonies of Robert F. When it returned, Goldberg addressed the matter of her crackling voice before introducing the second topic. “So before I go any further, I have to explain what’s happening. Why Whoopi Goldberg Is Suddenly Absent From ‘The View’
Image
On Wednesday’s (May 14) new episode of The View, the panelist lineup looked a bit different than it usually does this time of the week. Whoopi Goldberg, who is usually present and moderating on Wednesday episodes, was unexpectedly absent from the lineup, so Joy Behar took the lead with Ana Navarro coming along early to join ranks with Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. Behar announced the reason for Goldberg’s absence at the top of the hour. “Whoopi’s got some kind of little bug,” she explained, clarifying, “Not Covid, though, not Covid. She was wearing a mask yesterday. She wasn’t feeling well, but she’s coming back tomorrow — supposedly, if she feels better.” Goldberg was previously present for the live shows on Monday and Tuesday, in which she engaged in the cohost’s spirited discussions of Donald Trump‘s very controversial $400 million plane gift from...

‘The View’: Jimmy Fallon Denies Joy Behar’s Claim She Mistakenly Emails Him, so She Pulls Her Phone Out to Prove It
Image
Last year, “The View” host Joy Behar revealed that she accidentally sent a congratulatory email meant for Jimmy Kimmel (following his Oscars hosting gig) to Jimmy Fallon. But, on Tuesday morning, Fallon himself denied that happened — so the ABC host whipped out her phone to prove it.

Behar brought up the mistake again after Fallon regaled the women with a story of how his friendship with media mogul Anna Wintour began. The “Tonight Show” host recalled that Wintour sent him a long email asking for advice, and only after he sent a lengthy reply did he see a follow-up from Wintour saying to “disregard” her original ask.

Behar empathized, telling Fallon of her Kimmel mix-up. But as she did, Fallon pushed back.

“No, you don’t — you keep doing this by the way, Joy,” Fallon pushed back. “Every time I come on, you tell me that you emailed me. You don’t have my email,...

‘The View’ Hosts Are Anxious Over New Pope’s Past Views on LGBTQ Community, Allegations of Mishandling Abuse | Video

Robert Prevost was selected as the first American pope on Thursday, and on Friday morning, some of the hosts on “The View” had concerns about the choice.

To kick off the day’s Hot Topics, host Joy Behar jokingly asked “What do you want to bet Trump says the election was stolen” before asking for her coworkers’ real thoughts on the matter. She opted to talk to the actual Catholics first, which meant Sunny Hostin kicked things off. And she was pretty hesitant.

“I’m a little concerned about this choice for the LGBTQ+ community,” she admitted. “In 2012 he gave an address to bishops, and he lamented the popular culture fostered and sympathy for beliefs and practices that are at odds with the gospel, and that’s a quote.”

Joy Behar Cracks Trump Joke About New Pope on ‘The View’
Image
The first “Hot Topic” discussion of the day on Friday’s (May 9) new episode of The View was the selection of Pope Leo Xiv to succeed the late Pope Francis. Among the five present panelists, three identified as Catholics, so they had some pretty topical reactions to the conclave’s choice of its first-ever American pope, former Cardinal Robert Prevost from Chicago. Before they could get to that, though, Behar had a quick Donald Trump joke to share with the crowd. “What do you want to bet Trump says the election was stolen?” she said — referring to Trump’s false assertions that he didn’t lose to Joe Biden in 2020 — earning laughter from her cohosts and the studio crowd. From there, Hostin was the first to share her opinion on the choice and said she was taken by the pageantry of it all. “I always think it’...

Joe Biden Tells ‘The View’ That He Wasn’t Surprised That Donald Trump Won 2024 Election, Blames Sexism And Covid On Kamala Harris’ Loss
Image
In his first U.S. sitdown interview since leaving office, Joe Biden said that he was not surprised when Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris and won the 2024 election.

“I was very disappointed, but I was not surprised,” Biden told the hosts of ABC’s The View.

He said that didn’t mean that he thought that Harris was the most qualified to be president. Instead, he said that the Trump team “went the sexist route” by casting doubt that a woman can be president, and also by playing the race card.

“I have never seen as successful and quite as consistent a campaign undercutting the notion that a woman couldn’t lead the country, and a woman of mixed race,” Biden said.

He also said that “we underestimate the the phenomenal impact that Covid and the pandemic” had, as the disruptions continued to impact voters views of the country.

Amber Ruffin ‘Strongly Disagrees’ That Trump’s Done a Bad Job in First 100 Days: He Did ‘Everything He Has Set Out to Do’
Image
Donald Trump has set a historic low for presidential approval ratings after his first 100 days in office, but “Late Night” writer and almost-White House Correspondents’ Dinner headliner Amber Ruffin would “strongly disagree” with the idea that he has done a bad job.

Ruffin stopped by “The View” on Wednesday morning, and while there, host Joy Behar brought up the many polls indicating that Trump’s approval rating continues to slip, asking for Ruffin’s take on it. But the comedian’s answer surprised the audience for just a moment.

“People are saying that Trump did a bad job 100 days in; I strongly disagree,” she said.

“This man has done everything he has set out to do,” she continued. “I’m Black, I’m terrified. I’m scared for my trans friends, and people who we know and love, our neighbors, are disappeared. And that was the goal, and he did it.

‘The View’ Host Joy Behar Is ‘Really Starting to Feel Sorry’ for Trump: ‘He’s Over His Head’
Image
Joy Behar is certainly no fan of Donald Trump, but after watching another contentious interview — this time on ABC News — of his, the host of “The View” is actually “starting to feel sorry” for the president.

The ABC host shocked her colleagues on Wednesday morning with the sentiment, as the women discussed Trump’s interview, during which he complained that journalist Terry Moran was “not being very nice” by pushing back on lies. In discussing their thoughts on it, Behar noted she watched the entire interview, and came to a surprising conclusion.

“I’m really starting to feel sorry for him. He’s over his head,” she said. “The simplest questions, he can not answer. He knows that only immigration is maybe where he’s been somewhat successful.”

In reality, a new Washington Post-abc News-Ipsos poll indicates that Trump’s approval rating on immigration specifically has actually fallen in recent weeks.

Joy Behar Claps Back at Complaints About ‘The View’ Airing Reruns

The View took a break last week for the Easter holidays, meaning Behar and her co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro had the week off. Trump Adds Gold Urns & Mirrors To Oval Office To Make The White House More Like Mar-a-Lago
Image
After announcing a 90-day pause on his tariffs last week, President Donald Trump made a series of adjustments to the presidential portraits in the grand White House entrance hall.

His latest addition to the grand foyer is a colorful painting of himself in the moments after last year’s attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania. The portrait shows his face bloody from his injured ear, his fist raised in triumph. In order to display the portrait, Trump moved a modernistic portrait of Barack Obama across the hall, replacing one of George W. Bush. Bush’s portrait was moved into the stairway that leads to the private residence.

The painting of Trump is slated to stay in the foyer for a few months before being replaced by a more traditional portrait. Trump has also ordered a big painting of Abraham Lincoln to be moved out on the stairway into the cross hall...

Whoopi Goldberg’s Return Date To ‘The View’ Revealed
Image
It looks like The View has quietly slipped into a short hiatus, and as usual, fans are buzzing with questions. Whispers about the future of key co-hosts—including the ever-iconic Whoopi Goldberg—are growing louder, especially as contract renewal details remain under wraps.

But while the cameras may be off for now, the fans aren’t exactly left in the dark. Dedicated viewers have figured out how to stay a step ahead, even scoring chances to see their favorite personalities live.

What’s Happening Behind the Scenes?

Whoopi Goldberg, once known primarily for her award-winning acting and stand-up career, has worn the hat of co-host on The View since 2007. Over the years, both she and fellow co-host Joy Behar have occasionally stepped back from filming.

That’s not particularly unusual—they’re both on a flexible four-day work week. But fans did notice something rare recently: Goldberg taped an episode on a Friday,...

The View costars Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar will soon share a stage of an entirely different sort: Goldberg will appear for one performance only with Behar in the latter’s Off Broadway comedic play My First Ex-Husband.

Behar announced the team-up on her Instagram account, captioning a photo of the two, “The reunion we’ve been waiting for!”

The View’s Joy Behar Criticizes Audience For Disappointing Reaction
Image
Joy Behar was in high spirits during Friday’s episode of The View, but it seemed the studio audience wasn’t quite matching her enthusiasm. Never one to hold back, Behar wasted no time in calling them out.

Details About The Show

The show began with a discussion about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s recent exchange with a British reporter.

When asked about a leaked Signal chat involving Trump officials and military plans, Greene dismissed the journalist by saying, “We don’t give a crap about your opinion and your reporting,” after confirming she wasn’t from the United States.

The comment sparked reactions from the panel, with Behar questioning, “What’s all this hostility toward the allies?”

She pointed out that travel to the U.S. from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa had dropped by 12.8% compared to the previous year.

Sunny Hostin chimed in, noting that some of...

‘The View’ Hosts Slam Rfk Jr. for Fat-Shaming West Virginia Governor: Once He ‘Brings Ebola Back, We’re All Going to Be Skinny!’ | Video
Image
Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. publicly body-shamed West Virginia governor Patrick Morrisey at an event over the weekend, and on Tuesday morning, the hosts of “The View” were appalled.

Speaking at a “Make America Healthy Again” event, Kennedy admitted that the first time he met Morrissey, he told the man, “You look like you ate Governor Morrisey.” The Hhs secretary then announced that he will be serving as a personal trainer to Morrisey.

“Raise your hand if you want Governor Morrisey to do a public weigh-in once a month,” Kennedy asked the crowd. “And then when he’s lost 30 pounds, I’m going to come back to the state and do a celebration and a public weigh-in with him.”

Jennifer Lopez/Ben Affleck Romance Argument Wears ‘The View’ Moderator Whoopi Goldberg Out: See Her Reaction
Image
We’ve all heard and said enough of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s shortlived marriage. The original naysayers of the stars’ second-chance love story are telling us they called it from the get-go.

The believers, like myself, are convinced that there was love in their reconnection, but life happened. Whoopi Goldberg is convinced there was no love.

Whichever you think, you can admit that this topic is a complicated one, most of all for the two parties involved. In his recent GQ magazine interview, Affleck said he still has a lot of respect for Lopez.

If so, then why did he flee from home and block all Lopez’s attempts to communicate with him, you ask? The lack of communication, according to a Lopez source, was what made Lopez throw in the towel and file for the divorce. But hush, let the ladies of ‘The View’ try to make sense of this situation.

*Spoiler* Doesn’t Give A Fig About Meghan Markle, People are Just Jealous of Grifter
Image
British royal family news reveals that a famous broadcaster has some choice words for Meghan Markle and isn’t afraid of Meg trying to cancel her over it.

“Some people like her, some people hate her, some people don’t care,” Ana Navarro told the audience on her show, The View. It was during a segment on women supporting women. Here’s the delish details.

Meghan Has One Less Fan

In case you missed it, Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow spoke out this week about claims the Duchess of Markle was “moving in on her territory as a lifestyle guru” with her scorned Netflix show With Love, Meghan.

Paltrow is the modern queen, Martha Stewart the Og, of celeb lifestyle shows that teach us how to make our own bread and pinatas.

The View host Joy Behar brought up Paltrow’s comments and paraphrased the A-lister as saying women should be seen as friends,...

Joy Behar Impresses ‘The View’ Cohosts With Signal Scandal Joke
Image
By day, Joy Behar is a cohost on The View, but at night — at least, for the last few weeks — she’s been hitting the stage with her off-Broadway comedy show My First Ex-Husband. Clearly, her time spent practicing her deliveries is coming in handy on the talk show because on Wednesday’s (March 26) episode, she caught her cohosts off guard with her quick wit about a decidedly unfunny subject. Once again, the first “Hot Topic” of the day was the Signal scandal, in which several cabinet members, including heads of the Department of Defense and national intelligence, accidentally included a journalist in their discussion of imminent military strike plans. This time, the cohosts were examining the fallout and the participants’ attempts to dial down the controversy of the matter during testimony before Congress and on Fox News. “Tulsi Gabbard wouldn’t even say that ‘T.G.’ on the chain was her,...

Jenny McCarthy Looks Back at ‘The View’ & Thinking Barbara Walters May Have Dementia
Image
Jenny McCarthy has been reflecting on her time as a co-host on ABC’s The View, including why things didn’t work out and a telling moment with the late Barbara Walters. Appearing on the latest episode of Maria Menounos‘ Heal Squad podcast, McCarthy explained, per Us Weekly, how she was “hired to bring pop culture to The View” when she joined the show in 2013. “They got rid of — at the time — Joy [Behar] and Elisabeth [Hasselbeck]. They wanted to do a whole flip of the show and lighten it up.” However, she noted that things quickly changed, pointing to a moment when her co-host, Walters, couldn’t remember Katy Perry despite having “just interviewed” her for a special. McCarthy said after the “Roar” singer’s name was brought up on the show, Walter asked, “Who’s Katy Perry?” “It was the first sign that I realized that Barbara was suffering from beginning stages of dementia,...

Sara Haines
Sara Haines tells The View producer ‘You tricked me’ about space trip and husband wouldn’t allow it
Sara Haines
Sara Haines called out The View executive producer Brian Teta for “tricking” her into a potential space trip.

The topic initially arrived during Teta’s discussion with Haines’s co-star, Joy Behar, on the Behind the Table podcast.

Behar strongly objected to ever wanting to take a trip on a rocket to space, and Whoopi Goldberg also said she could not go.

However, Behar said of The View co-hosts that Haines would do it, prompting Teta to call Haines during the podcast.

Haines picked up right away, and Teta suggested a Blue Origin space trip might happen if she were interested. Haines said she’d consider.

That confirmed what Behar believed, but it was all a trick done for the podcast to see if she was right.

Sara addressed previously agreeing to a possible space trip

A recent installment of Behind the Table featured Sarah Haines returning to the podcast to talk with Teta.

‘The View’: Bill Burr Says His Wife Warned Him Not to Come on the Show
Image
Comedian Bill Burr stopped by “The View” on Thursday morning, but apparently, his wife warned him against doing so. Why? Because of what he’s said about women in his stand-up.

Thursday marked Burr’s first time on the ABC talk show, which host Joy Behar pointed out immediately. Burr confirmed, and immediately admitted that, when he was officially locked in, his wife got skeptical.

“My wife was freaking out that I was coming on the show,” he said. “Yeah, she was like ‘Who the hell booked you on that show? You say all this dumb stuff about women, don’t go on that show.'”

“It’s a new guy,” Sara Haines joked with a grimace.

But Behar was quick to reassure him that “we are not snowflakes around here.” She also pointed out that she’s a comedian herself, so she understands what a shtick is.

As the conversation progressed,...

‘The View’: Joy Behar Mocks Trump’s Interior Decorating Amid Oval Office Renovations
Image
The View cohosts had a lot to say about Donald Trump‘s recent White House renovations on the Thursday, March 20, episode of the talk show. With Whoopi Goldberg absent for a work obligation in Italy, Joy Behar took over as moderator and kicked off the Hot Topics segment. “Millions of Americans are worried about healthcare and social security cuts, so what is the President of the United States doing right now? Watch.” The show then featured a clip of Trump showing off his recent renovations to the Oval Office and Rose Garden. “He’s like the interior decorator in chief now,” Behar joked. “Forget the nuclear button, I don’t even trust him with the button that gets him a Diet Coke.” She then pointed out that Trump is also planning to “completely retool the Kennedy Center,” too. “Is there no safe place to go with anymore with this guy?...

Where Is Whoopi Goldberg on ‘The View’? Why She’s Missing 2 Shows This Week
Image
Whoopi Goldberg was noticeably missing from her seat at the table during the Thursday, March 20, episode of The View. Cohost Joy Behar addressed Goldberg’s absence at the very beginning of the hour. “Whoopi is off today,” Behar shared. “I’m sorry. She’ll be back Monday.” That means that Goldberg will also be missing the Friday, March 21, show, and she gave an update on Instagram to explain why. After appearing on the Wednesday, March 19, episode, Goldberg took to social media to reveal where she was headed next. She shared a photo of herself sitting in the cockpit of an airplane with two pilots and captioned it, “Thanks to two of my favorite pilots and thank you to @delta. You continue to make me comfortable. Next stop Italy for ‘Women in Food.'” Whoopi Goldberg/Instagram Goldberg is being interviewed at the event, which will honor 20 women in food: chefs,...

Don Lemon Tells Bill Maher That a ‘Huge Faction of Maga’ Supporters Are ‘Really F—ing Racist,’ but Maher Disagrees: ‘I Wouldn’t Say Huge. No’
Image
Don Lemon recently appeared on Bill Maher’s “Club Random” podcast and got into a debate with the host after claiming that a “huge faction of the Maga movement” is “really fucking racist.” Maher disagreed by saying: “I wouldn’t say huge. No.” The topic came up when the duo discussed the backlash that ignited over Tom Hanks’ “Black Jeopardy” sketch during the “SNL50” event last month.

Hanks popped up in the sketch as Donald Trump supporter Doug, a character he first played on “SNL” eight years ago. Sporting a red Maga hat, Doug freaks out when Kenan Thompson’s “Black Jeopardy” host goes to shake his hand. The sketch led to Republican backlash on social media, with many accusing “SNL” of making all Trump supporters out to be racists.

“I get all the bad things about the [Trump] administration, but if you think they don’t shake Black people’s hands,...

‘The View’: Joy Behar Rolls Eyes at Sunny Hostin Over Parenting Views
Image
Joy Behar rolled her eyes at co-host Sunny Hostin on The Weekend View on Saturday (March 15) while the panel was discussing the topic of parenting and wanting children. The weekend spinoff of the long-running ABC talk show is led by Behar, who is joined by co-hosts Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro. On Saturday’s episode, the group touched on Lady Gaga‘s recent interview with Good Morning America, in which the singer admitted she asked her now-fiance, Michael Polansky, if he wanted marriage and kids soon after dating him. “I wanted him to know I was a family girl,” Lady Gaga said in the interview. “To ask the guy on a first date if you want children is a bit much,” Behar responded, opening the discussion up to the panel. “I don’t think it is at all,” Haines replied. “I didn’t say, ‘Will you...

‘The View’ Host Joy Behar Wishes Donald Trump Had ‘Bought A Rocket From Elon’ To ‘Go To Space’ Just 6 Days After SpaceX Explosion
Image
Joy Behar said on The View that she wishes President Donald Trump had purchased a rocket from Elon Musk to “go to space” just six days after the SpaceX craft explosion.

View moderator Whoopi Goldberg started the show with a conversation about Tuesday’s event of Trump selecting a new Tesla car to support the struggling public image of his political ally’s company.

>Watch: Joy Behar On Donald Trump & Sarah Palin

Near the end of the discussion, Behar, 82, attempted to make a joke about the president and a specific mode of transportation, resulting in a quip that prompted her cohosts to advise her against commenting.

“I would have preferred, instead of buying a Tesla,” Behar said, “He would’ve bought a rocket from Elon and go into s…” Behar trailed off just ahead of saying the word as she raised her right arm into the sky.

Goldberg pressed into Behar,...

‘The View’: Joy Behar Digs Into the Donald Trump-Rosie O’Donnell Feud (Video)
Image
After Rosie O’Donnell decided to move to Ireland in response to Donald Trump‘s second election to the presidency, Trump mocked the now-expat in front of the Irish prime minister during an Oval Office visit earlier in the week. So Joy Behar decided to explain exactly what Trump’s longstanding feud with O’Donnell is really about. On Friday’s (March 14) episode of The View, the first “Hot Topic” of the day was to discuss her former cohost’s relocation, and after rolling footage of both O’Donnell’s explanation and Trump’s taunt, Behar joked, “Oh no, he’s going to be mad at Ireland now. Here come the potato tariffs!” Sunny Hostin then asked Behar to explain what it was that first sparked Trump’s hatred for the comedian, noting, “He’s a toddler. His frontal lobe is not really fully developed, in my opinion, and so he probably suffers from that imposter syndrome,...

Gayle King called out by Joy Behar for space trip: ‘Why is she doing it?’
Joy Behar
Joy Behar called out fellow TV personality Gayle King over her decision to travel into space.

CBS Mornings revealed several weeks ago that Gayle plans to board a historic Blue Origin New Shepard mission to space, featuring an all-female crew.

Other women traveling with Gayle include singer Katy Perry, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, film producer Kerianne Flynn, and philanthropist and author Lauren Sanchez.

Sanchez is also the fiancee of Amazon and Blue Origin founder, Jeff Bezos. Many fans have criticized Gayle for her participation in Bezos’s upcoming mission to space.

The CBS Mornings star also shared with co-stars and viewers that she is terrified of traveling into space on a rocket.

Based on recent remarks, The View’s Behar questioned why Gayle chose to go under the circumstances.

Sara Haines addresses snapping at Joy Behar on The View after producer said she could ‘go home’
Sara Haines
After a rough start to her week, Sara Haines seemingly snapped at her co-host during an exchange on The View.

Haines recently appeared on The View’s podcast Behind the Table, where she spoke with executive producer Brian Teta.

Among the topics of conversation were politics and a fiery reply that Haines had to Joy Behar on a recent episode of The View.

It’s not uncommon for the co-hosts to disagree, bicker, and rile each other up, but sometimes things can get heated.

During the podcast, Teta mentioned he told Haines she could “go home” if needed due to her situation.

Haines’ remarks arrive soon after Joy clarified when she’s leaving The View and what she wants when she exits.

Haines recalled her rough return to The View

According to Sara Haines, she had been feeling awful for several days, and it first started when she was at church with her kids.
