Paula Castaño is a Colombian actress known for her role as Verónica in Netflix Original series Wild District and for her character Betsy Liliana in the Tv show Diomedes el Cacique de la Junta.
At the age of 18, she took her first job as an actress in the film El Cielo, directed by Alessandro Basile (2000). Doing this film was crucial in her life because it became clear she wanted to be an actress. She moved to Spain to pursue acting as a profession and graduated with and acting degree from La Cuarta Pared, a dramatic arts academy located in Madrid. After seven years living in Spain she moved back to Colombia where she continued her acting career starring in the film El Arriero, directed by Guillermo Calle (2008). She has worked in theatre productions and in several films and Tv series.
Some of her best known projects include Jack Ryan (Season II) for Amazon Prime, Wild District (Season I and II) for Netflix Original, Antes de la fiesta ( Four Episode Miniseries), Lynch (Season I, II and III) for Movie City among others.
She speaks fluent english and a bit of italian and catalan.
