Hamzah Tariq Jamil is a Pakistani actor and singer. He started his career as a theatre actor having studied musical theatre from Lebanon. Soon, he started to feature in TV shows debuting opposite Talat Hussain.
The hit drama was followed by a series of projects which include Jannat Se Agay, directed by Haseeb Hassan, Aitbar by Nadeem Sidiqui, Hubs, Khumar, Shiddat, etc. Hamzah went on to establish himself as a credible actor on television and on stage.
He subsequently appeared in several TV commercials. Some of them include Coke, Kurkure, Tapal Family Mixture, Velo, etc. Besides this, he played a significant part in Contractors directed by Mehreen Jabbar. Furthermore, he featured in mini series which include Candi and Yahya.
He was introduced to theatre by his mother who recognised his potential and persuaded him to join the industry. The versatile actor played a role in Asim Abbasi's web series 'Churails' on Zee5, opposite to Sarmad Khoosat. The maverick artist starred in the Sony LIV special 'Shandoor' by Asim Raza and Meray Dost Meray Yaar, season 1 & 2.
Later, Hamzah began working on his music videos after a successful first attempt as a music director. He was a part of Pepsi's Battle of the Bands season 4 and lead vocalist for NEON.
Backed by over a decade of experience, Hamzah is now bracing up to appear in movies.
