Anil Nagrath is an Indian mainstream cinema actor Nagrath was Born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. film industry debut in 1982 Mr. Nagrath started his career as a Management Trainee in Dalmia Dairy Industries Ltd where he progressed to become the Branch Manager of the Company in Bombay thereafter when the Company acquired Golden Tobacco Ltd., he was appointed the Regional Manager East and thus he has 10 years of working experience in senior positions in Corporate Companies.

After this, Mr. Anil Nagrath's entry into the film industry produced a film " Surkhiyaan" starring Naseeruddin Shah, Suresh Oberoi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda & Moon Moon Sen, and thereafter directed the feature film "Aaj Ki Taaqat" produced by Mr. Deepak Joshi during which period due to Corporate Experience and Managerial Enterprise he was first co-opted and thereafter elected to the Executive Committee of Imppa-Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association and FMC (Film Makers Combine) where on account of his ability to handle administrative matters he was soon appointed as Secretary in 1990 and he was involved in providing all help, guidance and consultancy to Imppa -Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association, Film Makers Combine members including Dispute Resolution and he did such a good job that FMC was referred to in News Papers as the Supreme Court of Film Industry during his tenure. Sometime after Mr. Anil Nagrath left Imppa-Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association and Film Makers Combine one component of FMC resigned from FMC and after separating from Imppa -Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association the AMPTPP (Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programme Producers) appointed Mr. Anil Nagrath as Director General where within 10 years AMPTPP was converted from a two employee one room office Association to sixteen employee Association having its own owned 2000 Sq. ft. elaborately done up the office with a couple of crores in Fixed Deposits which was all the result of Mr. Anil Nagrath's efforts at providing the best possible, advice, guidance, dispute, redressal, and arbitration facilities, and services to all members which resulted in a tremendous increase in AMPTPP membership and revenue.

After leaving the AMPTPP Mr. Anil Nagrath set up Nagrath Consultants his own Consultancy Company where all Legal, Financial, and all other needs and requirements of Clients are catered to after the opening of Nagrath Consultants, the results and achievements were so remarkable that Imppa -Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association also took advantage of the services of Mr. Anil Nagrath as Secretary between 2006 and 2009 which period saw a tremendous rise in IMPPA's income, credibility as well as a dispute resolution mechanism. Thereafter Mr. Anil Nagrath continued to provide services through Nagrath Consultants and once again in 2015, IMPPA appointed him as Secretary after which he has been handling the work of IMPPA and is personally available between 2-4 p.m. besides fully concentrating on Nagrath Consultants as also continuing his acting career.

Mr. Anil Nagrath is also a Trustee of Nagrath Charitable Trust running Pushp Kunj Hospital in Indore and is a Life Member of the Cine & T.V. Ariste Association, Life Member of the Indian Film & Television Director Association and Old Dalians Association (ODA).
