Jasmine Nelson, is an Award Winning American Actress, Professional Make-Up Artist, and Music Recording Artist born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Since beginning her career at 14 years old in her high school's theatre art program. Jasmine has trained at various acting studios since earning her Master of Arts Degree at DePaul University in 2013. She moved to Los Angeles, California in 2015 to pursue her career(s) in acting, make-up artistry, and music. Since then, Jasmine has been featured in magazine publications for her make-up artistry, and the films she has starred in have been selected for various film festivals and have won in multiple categories. In 2023, she won an individual category for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the short film "Cum Laude" at the New Jersey Film Awards for June 2023.

She is known for her starring roles in the films: Cum Laude (2022), SNB (2022), Lucky Number 7 (2021), and A Sort of Hunger (2019). Jasmine made her first guest star appearance on Season 2 of BET+ All the Queen's Men,(2022). She will soon be co-starring in a Starz network series show this upcoming fall.

Fun facts: Jasmine is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She was initiated in the Spring of 2011 through Beta Xi Chapter at Central State University, a Historical Black College/University in Wilberforce, Ohio. Her birthday is March 16th and her zodiac sign is Pisces.
