Jun Gong

Gong Jun, also known as Simon Gong, was born on November 29, 1992 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. He is a Chinese actor and model. He grew up in an ordinary family as the only child. During the high school years, he was selected and recommended by his teacher to study performing art due to his appearance. He graduated from Donghua University, Shanghai. He had worked as a model for various advertisements during his final university year and after graduation. He was given a nickname of "The Little Prince of Advertising" because he had appeared in many advertisements. One year after university graduation, Simon moved to Beijing to seek opportunities in the entertainment industry. His on-screen acting debut was in the web drama Sword Chaos (2016). He gained attention for his role as the 11th Prince Yuan Che in the fantasy historical drama Zui Ling Long (2017) and further recognition for his role as a mature and kind surgeon Ling Rui in Cong Jie Hun Kai Shi Lian Ai (2020). He also participated in the dubbing of Apollo in the French animated movie Drôles de petites bêtes (2017) released in mainland China in 2019. He has become one of the most popular actors in China for his roles in Word of Honor (2021), Chen Shui Hua Yuan (2021), An Le Zhuan (2023), and Wo Yao Ni Feng Qu (2023). Since 2021 Simon has become the most popular celebrity model, setting a record of being the cover star of A-list fashion magazines in China for 14 consecutive months and endorsing multiple commercial brands globally.
