Petros Epitropakis was a Greek tenor known for his powerful voice and commanding stage presence in both opera and operetta. After early musical training in Athens and further studies in Italy, he launched his international career with performances across Europe, appearing in productions in Italy, France, Switzerland, and Austria. In 1939, he became a principal tenor at the National Opera of Greece, where he remained a leading figure for two decades. Alongside his operatic work, he also appeared in early Greek cinema and was admired for his performances in light music. His contributions left a lasting mark on Greece's lyrical theatre tradition.
