Rúnar Vilberg was born in Reykjavik, Iceland. He started acting when he was 6 years old but decided to make it into a career when he turned 14. Rúnar graduated from the Icelandic film school in 2018 and won the award for "best actor". In 2020 Rúnar started working in the film industry as a camera assistant and soon became VTR supervisor. From 2020 Rúnar both worked behind the camera learning the business as well as acting in front of the camera. Rúnar started a production company called Asoca Productions and has been writing, producing and acting in every project Asoca takes on.
