Khalid Greenaway

Khalid Greenaway, is a native of St. Croix, Virgin Islands. He is an actor, model, board licensed mental health professional counselor, writer, public speaker, and entrepreneur. He received his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Greensboro College, and his Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.
Upon graduating Khalid founded a level 3 residential home for at-risk youth with mental health disorders called, Successful Start, LLC in Highpoint, NC. This eventually branched out to include a Nationally Accredited Day Treatment Center for at risk youth along with offices for Outpatient Therapy. Eventually he started a South Carolina based company to the provided Outpatient Services for people suffering from mental health disorders called, Hope for Change.
Khalid started his acting journey at 8 years old acting in elementary school plays. He grew up drawn to the arts and displayed this passion through his acting, singing, and drawing. He would leave this part of himself behind for many years after leaving high school. Eventually he was drawn back to acting through his attendance at The Actors Group, acting school in Winston-Salem, NC. After several years at this school he transitioned into attending Artistic Heights Academy, in Atlanta, GA, where he learned to utilize the Chubbuck technique. Later he would train at the famed Actors Playhouse West, Philadelphia, which is well known because of its predecessor Sanford Meisner. During this time Khalid has been able to land roles in network television shows like Ghost: Power Book II and Queens. He recently finished playing the role of "Jim Mitchell" in the movie Queen Of The Rings, that can be seen on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
Khalid has served as a clinical director and consultant for several mental health companies and substance abuse facilities. He has partnered with The Department Of Social Services, The Department Of Juvenile Just, and the Guilford County Schools Exceptional Children's Department to help serve at-risk youth, He has served as a minister at DUNAMIS Ministries for over a decade, and has dedicated his life to serving the least fortunate in his community.
