Renowned filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has expressed serious concern over a fake social media account being operated in the name of her personal cook, Dilip. The issue came to light after the impersonator began engaging with people online under false pretenses.
Farah Khan Calls It a Fraud
Farah didn’t hold back in her response. She publicly called out the fake account, labeling it an act of complete fraud and manipulation. According to her, the cook Dilip is not even aware of what Instagram is, let alone running an account on the platform.
Her statement was clear: someone is pretending to be Dilip to gain attention or possibly mislead others — and she’s not tolerating it.
The Real Dilip Is Not Online
Farah clarified that Dilip has no association with any social media platform and doesn’t even know how to use Instagram. She highlighted that it’s highly...

Hollywood needs better tax incentives, more solidarity from the stars and greater openness to new faces, if it is to survive and may yet be scuppered by algorithms and Silicon Valley.
This was the conclusion of a group of veteran L.A.-based producers exploring Hollywood’s future at the producer-focused Avp Summit in northern Italy this week.
“We all came here in our 20s. We all made our mark in entertainment, and we’ve seen Hollywood go from what was clearly the entertainment capital of the world to a city as the crossroads,” commented Primal Fear, Million Dollar Baby and Underworld producer Gary Lucchesi as he opened the debate.
The former Paramount Pictures President of Production and Lakeshore President was joined on stage by ex-hbo Films President Len Amato, who now produces under the banner of Crash&Salvage; The Fisher King and Erin Brockovich producer Stacey Sher; Lori McCreary,...

As Paramount gears up for the theatrical release of its The Naked Gun revival in August, the future of scripted comedy was under scrutiny at the Avp Summit producers’ event in northern Italy on Wednesday.
Former Paramount exec Gary Lucchesi, who oversaw the production of the original The Naked Gun movies in the 1990s, chaired the talk, having suggested the topic on the basis of his own desire to see comedies back on the big screen again.
He was joined by The Idea Of You producer Jordana Mollick, co-founder of comedy-focused Semi-Formal Productions with filmmaker Michael Showalter; former Funny or Die execs Mike Farah and Joe Farrell, who now work as independent producers, as well as Italian producer Verdiana Bixio, whose company Publispei is currently filming a reboot of the popular comedy show I Cesaroni.

I don’t think you’ve ever done a film like Paheli before?
And I hope I can do things like Paheli in the future as well. Paheli is very different. I could only make it when my production house could afford to take a risk. After Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Asoka I had to make films that were commercially viable. After Asoka my company was in the red.I hope the mood of the movie comes across to the audience. I love comedy. But Paheli isn’t a funny film, though it does have light moments.
Amol Palekar isn’t the first avant-garde director you’ve worked with.

A hush falls over the human mind when it confronts the night sky, a silent promise of truths withheld. The Age of Disclosure steps into that quiet with a measured intensity, tracing a half‑century of U.S. government shadows cast over Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. From the grainy flash of the 2004 “Tic Tac” encounter—naval aviators caught between disbelief and awe—to the hushed chambers of congressional hearings, director Dan Farah stitches a tapestry of hidden archives and urgent testimony.
At the film’s heart stands Luis Elizondo, a former Pentagon official whose resolve fractures official silence. His voice, at turns fervent and wearied, guides viewers through corridors where information was once locked away. He embodies the film’s tension: the solitary seeker amid an empire of secrets.
Farah posits that confirmation of extraterrestrial craft would not simply rewrite history but upend our place within it—an upheaval of beliefs older than any nation.

Joy Gharoro-Akpojotor’s Dreamers marks a poignant debut, navigating the intimate, complex terrain of asylum seekers in the UK. At its heart is Isio, a Nigerian migrant whose arrival at a British detention center sets the stage for a character-driven exploration of survival, resilience, and love. From the very first moments, Gharoro-Akpojotor subverts the expectations of a political thriller by grounding her story in personal experience, crafting an emotionally potent narrative that defies the stereotypical portrayal of migrants as faceless statistics.
The film’s narrative structure is modest yet effective, relying on quiet moments of human connection rather than grand plot twists. Gharoro-Akpojotor wisely avoids the trap of portraying her characters as mere victims of circumstance, instead allowing the story to unfold through their small, intimate acts of defiance and hope.

From its first frames, Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins announces itself as an East-meets-West heist thriller, merging Bollywood’s flair for spectacle with the disciplined tempo of global caper films. Saif Ali Khan embodies Rehan Roy, a charismatic burglar who’s lived abroad under a cloud of family disgrace. When crime lord Rajan Aulakh (Jaideep Ahlawat) threatens Rehan’s kin to secure his expertise, the stage is set for a contest of wit, loyalty and high-stakes robbery.
The film’s energy hinges on the tension between Rehan and Vikram Patel (Kunal Kapoor), an upright investigator whose respect for his quarry hints at comradeship beneath rivalry. Nikita Dutta appears as Farah, Rajan’s spouse, whose shifting devotion becomes a key fault line in the plot. Striking cinematography —notably a sequence where Rehan scales a museum wall— a score that pulses with orchestral underscores, and crisp editing unite to sustain forward momentum.

Bollywood used to make fun crime movies. This is the country of “Don,” of “Bunty Aur Babli” of not one but three “Dhoom” movies. Heck, Netflix’s recent “Dhoom Dhaam” (unrelated to the aforementioned franchise) threw its hat in the ring to respectable results. And while those other examples may be from a bygone era of joyful abandon, the current moment leaves a lot to be desired.
In its defense, Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal’s “Jewel Thief” does not purport to be any kind of caper, but the self-serious wannabe action drama in its place leaves much to be desired. One can’t fault producer Siddharth Anand for committing to more of the same after the success of projects like “Pathaan,” “War,” and “Tiger” — but those were theatrical releases, unlike this one, and did not star Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat.

“Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins” arrives on Netflix led by established Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat, with support from Nikita Dutta and Kunal Kapoor. However, before landing on Netflix, the film faced a significant hurdle: film critics in India panned it, with some outlets giving it ratings as low as one out of five stars.
Was the criticism warranted? We’ll explore that shortly.
Produced by Marflix Pictures, founded by Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand, the company is known for delivering some of Bollywood’s biggest action blockbusters like War, Pathaan, and Fighter. Marflix’s involvement set expectations for a visually spectacular and thrilling experience, even on a streaming platform. Indeed, the producers explicitly stated their goal was to bring the “scale and thrill of big-screen action” to Netflix, marking Marflix’s streaming debut. The film was directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal.

If you don’t believe in aliens yet, you’re behind.
The United States has been secretly working to capture UAPs — unidentified anomalous phenomena, the more formal term for UFOs — since as early as 1947, according to many high-ranking figures throughout the government, military and intelligence community. There is evidence and documentation of all kinds of findings that feel like the stuff of sci-fi: vehicles that appear to disobey the laws of physics, difficult-to-explain interference with American military activity and, indeed, the bodies of intelligent, nonhuman beings. Multiple species, at that.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by all that info, take a breath. Yes, there are 80 years of covered-up research to catch up on. But Dan Farah, director of the SXSW documentary “The Age of Disclosure,” has spent the last three years of his life interviewing as many involved sources as possible and compiling all of the most important information in...

The highly anticipated UFO documentary The Age of Disclosure has its world premiere at South by Southwest Film Festival on Sunday, and filmmaker Dan Farah is finally ready to talk about his years-long secretive effort to make the most credible nonfiction movie ever about the buzzy topic.
What makes The Age of Disclosure stand out among the thousands of previous UFO film and TV documentary efforts over the past several decades is that Farah only included on-record interviews with current and former senior members of the U.S. government, military and intelligence community with direct knowledge of unidentified anomalous phenomena (or UAPs). The result is a riveting look at a subject that’s being taken far more seriously in recent years as high-level officials make statements, release videos, hold hearings and take legislative action (like 2023’s bipartisan Uap Disclosure Act), which all lead to one conclusion: Something is going on.

Deepika Padukone Bollywood Debut (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Deepika Padukone has become one of Bollywood’s most celebrated leading ladies, with a career that spans many critically acclaimed and commercially successful films. Widely recognized for her breakthrough performance in Om Shanti Om (2007), the film directed by Farah Khan not only marked her debut but also set the stage for her transformation into a top-tier star.
However, many fans might not know that Deepika was originally slated to debut in Farah Khan’s then-upcoming project, Happy New Year. Although Happy New Year eventually emerged as a high-octane heist and dance comedy released several years later, Om Shanti Om ultimately launched her career.
While Happy New Year is now praised for its comedy, it was not loved much by fans upon its release. Therefore, fate could have been very different had Deepika made her debut with that movie instead of Om Shanti Om,...

With recent releases of remasters and remakes of classic games on modern platforms like the PlayStation 5, there remains a large catalog of PlayStation 2 games that also deserve to be remade and remastered. This catalog includes games that cannot be accessed through any official means, a lack of accessibility that leads to great games and classics being stuck on old consoles or systems that have either shot up in price due to rarity or are no longer sold. However, remasters tend to be a controversial subject, especially since sometimes remasters don't fare well.
This can be said for plenty of remasters of fan-favorite classics, such as Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, which performed poorly, and the Silent Hill HD Collection, which was received poorly due to an incomplete source code that was never properly archived. However, despite some remasters doing poorly, there have been others that have been received well, such...

The women on The View are often relentless around each other. They have no problem with being catty and throwing around insults. Mostly, it is done in good humor. Other times, it is something they might mean, but they do it in a way that is shady yet light-hearted. On a recent episode, Joy Behar cut loose on Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Here is what Joy said to Alyssa and how her co-host responded.
Joy Behar Blasts Alyssa Farah Griffin’s Appearance On The View
The ladies on The View are often dressed in their best outfits, many of which were often given to them by sponsors. However, sometimes, the women come out with something that they picked up on their own. Alyssa Farah Griffin did that this week, and Joy Behar told her she looked ridiculous.

It wasn’t Alyssa’s outfit that rubbed Joy the wrong way.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) takes place over 11 days in November 2023, continuing from Modern Warfare 2's storyline. The game features missions involving rescuing prisoners, preventing a nuclear disaster, and hunting down the villain, Vladamir Makarov. The campaign includes flashbacks to events in 2019, intense battles on November 10th, and a tragic ending with the death of a beloved character.
The Call of Duty franchise has become such a web of complicated timelines and reboots that it can be confusing to know when each game takes place, including 2023's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Players hoping to jump on board the rebooted Modern Warfare series and are perhaps less interested in trying out all the post-launch content will need a comprehensive timeline to figure out when each game is set. Fortunately, the series follows a fairly linear structure, with 2019's Modern Warfare taking place in October 2019 and 2022's Modern Warfare 2 taking place...
