Susan Goforth is a 3-time Academy Award® contending filmmaker, actress, and producer known for creating bold, emotionally rich stories that span genres-from historical dramas to survival comedies. She is the co-founder of Pendragon Pictures, an acclaimed independent film company behind 10 Days in a Madhouse (2015), War of the Worlds: The True Story (2012), and Tomorrow's Today (2021), the final film of Oscar-nominated actor Burt Young.
A classically trained performer with a B.F.A. magna cum laude from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Goforth launched her career on national and international stages in Shakespeare and Classics like Much Ado About Nothing, Cyrano de Bergerac and Romeo and Juliet, and musicals like Guys and Dolls, Singin' in the Rain, and Follies, before transitioning into film and television. She has appeared in both on-camera and voiceover roles for hundreds of brands including Microsoft, Buick, Honda, and AT&T.
In 2025, Goforth produced The Wilde Girls, a genre-defying survival comedy that blends the social humor of Clueless with the grit of The Revenant, set in the Great Depression. The film showcases her signature approach: fusing heart, humor, and social commentary into unforgettable storytelling.
