Courtney Autera grew up on Long Island, and now splits her time between LA and NY. She started stand-up comedy when she was nineteen, which gave her an authentic taste of Hollywood, as she got hit on by various men old enough to be her Grandpas.
She is the founder of Cacao Entertainment, a comedy production company. She coined the genre, "coastal comedy," upon the release of her film, Breaking Wind, which she co-created with Dasha Bradshaw.
When Courtney is not on set or stage, she is usually upside down, walking on her hands. As an Aries, standing still isn't really her thing.
