Sammy Winward

Sammy Winward was born and raised in Bolton and is best known for portraying the character of Katie Sugden in Emmerdale for 14 years. She has recently starred as Sonia Sutcliffe in the award winning ITV series 'The Long Shadow' and as Cheryl in the upcoming series of Sky One's 'Brassic' as well as an appearance on BBC's Mastermind for which her chosen specialist subject was Anne Boleyn.
