All thrillers rely on suspense to some extent, but few in recent memory are as committed to subverting audience expectations as this one. The result is bold and stylish in nearly every aspect of its presentation, and there is an undeniable confidence in how directors Lee Jung Chan and Kim Yeo Jung choose to tell the story. However, that same confidence generates an internal conflict, resulting in a tumultuous yet intriguing viewing experience.
The story opens with Yeong Eun, played by Kwak Sun Young, a swimming teacher and recently divorced mother. Her primary challenge, as quickly becomes clear, is her seven-year-old daughter So Hyeon, portrayed by Gi So Yoo, who exhibits disturbingly clear psychopathic traits.

After featuring in Vincenzo and A Time Called You, Jeon Yeo-Been has returned to K-dramas with a melancholy romantic series, Our Movie, alongside Namkoong Min. On the other hand, the drama’s male lead, Namkoong Min, joined the show after My Dearest, which came out in 2023. Since Our Movie premiered on Sbs on June 13, 2025, it has received mixed reviews with a lower viewership rating.
However, as the series has entered the second half of its run, the Sbs drama saw a slight rise in its viewership ratings. As per the viewers, the storyline didn’t connect to the audience, and the chemistry wasn’t hitting the right chords, but the latest rise in the ratings proves that viewers have started to like the series.

I know we suspected that Ena’s psychologist, Lee Seungjoo, was a massive part of this story, but I honestly didn’t think she’d be the person we’ve been looking for this whole time. Though seeing as we still have another episode left, there’s a chance we might get some sort of last-minute surprise. But still, all the clues point to one answer. In episode 10, we get a rundown of some events that went down many years ago, which led to the construction of “The One City” building. While I was more suspicious of her partner, Hwang Inchan, I feel like the show will feel super dated if the end result is just that a person who went on to become a psychologist also became a killer because of some traumatic events from her past. It gives quite a disappointing impression. I didn’t find the show...
