Mahesh Gowda is a well-qualified, creative and professional film maker. He has pursued Diploma and Bachelors in Engineering, PGDM, MBA (London) as his educational qualifications. After serving for 2 . 5 years as a working profession in London, his passion towards art and entertainment made him enroll into the 'Direction in film making certification' course from The London film academy (LFA).
After working on 5 experimental short films at the LFA and exploring most part of Europe, he returned to India to follow and continue his passion for film making. He worked as an Associate Director to one of the veteran directors of the Kannada film industry, the living legend Mr. Sunil Kumar Desai and had the privilege to work with some of the National award nominees like G. S. Bhaskar. After which, he continued to start his own production house "Honudi Productions" and produced and directed many experimental short films and music videos under the same banner.
He has also worked as an assistant choreographer in one the block buster film 3 idiots, where he got an opportunity to dance and work right next to one of our country's finest actors, Mr. Amir Khan and R. Madhavan.
He has dedicated most of his time to encourage, support and provide a platforms, reach, recognition and opportunities to newcomers and people with talents. He still continues to mentor upcoming film makers. He is also invited by most of the colleges as a guest and visiting speaker to present a lecture on modern psychology, modern philosophy, public motivation and entrepreneurship. He has been a judge for many corporate cultural events. His thrust to do cinema with unique concepts has earned him respect and position. All of his works are elegantly presented and critically acclaimed and still continues. His latest release is a critically acclaimed feature film MAHIRA, a female centric action thriller, which received rave reviews from Critics across English Dailies, Kannada Dailies and Online portals. Most of the ratings are between 3 & 4 out of 5. He is all geared up to launch his next project.
