Was born in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1968. His mother didn't want him to become an actor and so he was send to a school to become bookkeeper. This went wrong and at age 18 he left school without any degree. In 1992 after a whole range of jobs going from PC/Hifi salesman, salesman at an ISP and even working in a pizzeria for a short time he finally got his chance when he was accepted at the Municipal Academy of Word and Music in Hoboken. There he was trained for 6 years by Belgian's leading actor Herbert Flack and Erik Maes. He stared in plays from Shakespeare, Moliere, Anouilh and many more. He also served his country for two years in the Belgian army as a volunteer. From 1994 to 1995 he played the part of Billy Bibbit 80 times in the Dutch version of the stage play One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, directed by Wim Lanckrock and adapted by Alex Van Haecke. In 1999 he started to concentrate more and more on writing (screen) plays, directing and developing game-show formats instead of acting but from time to time he still accepts guest appearances in television series or Belgian movies and you can find him in the streets of Antwerp where he regularly does mime, clown and living statue acts as a street-performer. In 2007 he was for a short time connected as actor at the Belgian amusement park 'Ooit Tongeren' but the company went into bankruptcy three weeks after opening. That same year he made his first short called Dead Serious.
