The new season arrives on Oct. 16, and, according to the preview, the political stakes have never been higher. Keri Russell returns as Ambassador Kate Wyler, who now finds herself deep in the fallout from last season’s chaos.

We don't have to wait too long to watch The Diplomat season 3 on Netflix! During its annual Upfronts presentation, Netflix announced The Diplomat season 3 will be released in the fall of 2025.

That's exactly when we thought the new season of The Diplomat starring Keri Russell and Rufus Sewell would premiere on Netflix. We still don't know the exact release date, but I'm guessing we'll see the new season around November or December.

In addition to the season 3 release window news, Netflix also announced The Diplomat season 4 is already in the works. The renewal was announced during the Upfronts presentation.

While many Netflix shows benefit from word-of-mouth promotion, a lot of good Netflix shows slip through the cracks and don't get in front of the right viewers. I've been covering Netflix for a long time, and I wanted to share a few good Netflix shows that most people haven't seen yet. By now, most of the shows are at least a few months old. Some are even a few years old at this point, but they still make for a good watch on Netflix.

Essandoh returned in Season 6 as a guest star, but hasn't shared any scenes with Mitchell, who joined the cast in Season 9. "He's got a headshot on one of the sets -- a framed headshot of his character -- and I've taken a selfie in front of it and sent it to him," Mitchell said of Essandoh. "I love Ato. I'd love for him to come back, but I think the guy is just, he's too good of an actor. He's always working. He's booked out."

The streamer released some first look photos on Thursday, which feature newest cast member Bradley Whitford, who Deadline previously reported will be reuniting with his former The West Wing co-star Allison Janney to play her husband and the First Gentleman of the United States.

The photos don’t reveal much about what’s to come, other than some expected interaction between Grace Penn (Janney), her husband Todd Penn (Whitford), Keri Russell’s Kate Wyler and Rufus Sewell’s Hal Wyler.
