Shyam Prasad is an Indian film actor, popularly known for his works in South Indian movies predominantly Tamil Films.

He plays a Pivotal role in the upcoming Tamil Feature Film, "Thazh Thiravaa".

Coimbatore being Shyam Prasad's native, he pursued his B.Tech from VIT University, Vellore. He has been awarded a "Special award" by the Chancellor of VIT University, Mr.G.Vishwanathan to encourage him as an Actor during January-2017- VIT Alumni Association Awards ceremony. He worked as an Assistant Director in the film "Katham Katham" directed by Mr.Babu Thooyavan before taking up acting as his career. Shyam Prasad has handled production for a few films as well.
