Your Trip to Resurrection County Could be Your Last: A Movie Review
*full disclosure: a screener of this film was provided by Mti Home Video.

**here be some spoilers.

Director: Matt Zettell.

Writers: James Cotten and Matt Yeager.

It is always a good thing when a horror movie is disturbing. Resurrection County is just such a film. To be released on DVD March 20th through Mti Home Video, this film will change that nice comfortable feeling you have starting the film into something a little more dangerous and thrilling. Two couples are reduced to one as four friends start a nightmarish camping trip in hillbilly country. The result is a lot of cat and mouse scenes, some very unsettling incidents and a slightly sour final scene.

Sam (Dayton Knoll) is the lead in the film, but that position changes quickly. After Sam and Tommy (Adam Huss) unearth a meth' lab, two rednecks turn a bad situation into something worse with antagonistic words and gunfire.

DVD and Blu-Ray Releases: November 30, 2010 - In a Dead Nation Twilight Eclipse Vampires Suck
This is The week to invest in a PS3 just so you can buy and download the fantastic Dead Nation exclusively on the Playstation Network. Trust us - it will be worth your while.

If you are not a gamer, this week's horror offerings are limited to some fangless bites with the latest installment of Twilight, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (and all its related merchandise), staking (ha!) out a Saturday release all by itself. There's also Vampires Suck, but the release party flash mob in Hollywood on November 30th sounds more interesting than the film itself.

Dead Nation (Video Game)

Available exclusively on the Playstation Network for $14.99, Dead Nation (Review) is said to be home to the "smartest zombies" to ever be placed in a video game, meaning that these baddies will perform surprise attacks, drop down on you from buildings, and even grab at you through fences. On top...

Fable's Jaw-Dropping Promo Material and World Premiere at Fantasia
Fable: Teeth of Beasts Poster

Dark Roast Releasing is a distribution company that was formed this year, which focuses on modern, independent films. One of their newest acquisitions is Fable: Teeth of Beasts, which will show at this year's Fantasia Film Festival. However, after watching the film's trailer and perusing the Fable movie poster, carefully, a better title for the film could have been Fable: Teeth of Breasts. The trailer is flashy, but offers almost no info' on the story. As well, Fable seems out to titillate rather than deliver anything cohesive, or coherent. Yet, some fans might find the eye candy charming as character Lilith Noir (Melantha Blackthorne) blasts away at any and almost every man she comes in contact with, in this clip.

The synopsis for Fable: Teeth of Beasts here:

"Lilith Noir is a hardboiled freelance enforcer for the shadow government that keeps watch over the city of Fable,...

Resurrection County at the Afm
Resurrection County is a film that was shot in Arkansas and recently the film was shown at the '09 Afm. Director Matt Zettell's lush cinematography is broken up by bloodthirsty locals who hope to make four campers' holiday a nightmare. Very gutsy and brutally violent Resurrection County now has a homepage, trailer, and synopsis for readers to enjoy. Have a look at prepare yourself for a future release date.

A synopsis for Resurrection County here:

"A warning to outsiders! When traveling through Resurrection County, mind the signs, one false move out there could be your last. When four suburbanite campers roll into the remote town of Enoch, they find that southern hospitality still exists. But things are not what they appear to be, as a weekend camping trip turns deadly. The locals are all too happy to serve up their own brand of an eye for an eye justice.
