Xuxa Levy, whose stage name is Marcos Levy, is recognized for his versatility as a musician, multi-instrumentalist, conductor, composer, producer and musical director. His work in the music industry is widely known, but he also left his mark in film and television productions. His appearances in films such as "Falsa Loura" (2007), "Querida Mamãe" (2017) and "Todo Poderoso: O Film - 100 Anos de Timão" (2010) stand out. These works highlight not only his musical ability, but also his ability to engage in different forms of artistic expression, expanding his impact beyond the musical scene.
Since his childhood, Marcos Levy was encouraged to explore his musical talent. He participated in competitions for young musicians and at the age of 10 he debuted as a soloist in the Piracicaba Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Ernest Mahle. During the 1990s, Marcos studied composition and conducting at Universidade Estadual de São Paulo and began his professional career, collaborating with several bands and artists, such as Gueto, Grêmio Recreativo (with Skowa), Matolli, Os Guanabaras, Itamar Assumpção, Zé Geraldo and Banda Vexame (where began a partnership with actress/singer Marisa Orth). During this period, he recorded flutes for the song "Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai" from the first album by Banda Karnak, led by André Abujamra. He was also part of Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz's band, responsible for promoting the single "Corazón Partio" in Brazil, in addition to joining singer Max de Castro's band in 1999. In the 2000s, Xuxa Levy participated in the production of singer Paula Lima's debut album, where he served as musical director for 5 years. He co-produced the track "Raiô" by Lulu Santos alongside DJ Memê and was part of Sandy & Junior's band. In 2002, he contributed to the album "Edson e Hudson Ao Vivo", nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Country Music Album. In 2004, he was a finalist for the "Visa Compositores" award. In 2006, he participated in the DVD "Um Pé no Mato, um Pé no Rock" by Zé Geraldo and recorded the album "Sinceramente" by Paula Lima, in addition to the album "DJ Patife na Estrada", in the song "Overjoyed" with the English singer Cleveland Watkiss.
