Annie Shapero

Annie Shapero is set to play the iconic 'Alysanne Blackwood' aka 'Black Aly' in George R.R. Martin's House of the Dragon 3. The fan favorite character hails from Martin's #1 New York Times best selling novel Fire and Blood. Shapero previously shot Justin Kurzel's limited series The Narrow Road To The Deep North, playing 'Anna Moore' and just wrapped Natalie Erika James' next feature film Saccharine opposite Midori Francis. Shapero first got the industry's attention when she booked the female lead role 'Nora' in the FX pilot The Border based on Don Winslow's bestselling Cartel Trilogy. The Border was under the direction of Jayro Bustamante and Daniel Zelman who served as Showrunner (DAMAGES, BLOODLINE).
