Amazon Studios is taking its relationship with Woody Allen to the next level. The streaming giant, according to sources, is in negotiations to fully finance the director’s next film, the untitled Kate Winslet-Jim Belushi starrer. The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that Amazon was negotiating to distribute the movie, which co-stars Justin Timberlake and Juno Temple, but it now appears that the deep-pocketed company is sweetening the offer significantly. An insider pegs the pic’s budget at $25 million. By opting to have Amazon finance, Allen shut out longtime financiers Stephen Tenenbaum and Edward Walson. The pair together have

Woody Allen Comedy Boots Bruce Willis, Brings in Steve Carell
Woody Allen at an event for Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008)
Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Bruce Willis had parted ways with the 2016 Untitled Woody Allen Comedy, just days after he was spotted shooting scenes on the set in Los Angeles. Today we have word from Deadline that Steve Carell has signed on to replace him. The casting keeps the production on schedule, with filming also set to take place in New York after the L.A. shoot wraps.

We reported in March that Bruce Willis, Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg were the first three cast members to sign on for this untitled comedy movie. Bruce Willis reportedly dropped out due to scheduling conflicts with his Broadway stage play adaptation of Misery. However, there have been persisting rumors that claim the actor was actually fired by Woody Allen, because he didn't think he was right for the role.

The cast also includes Jeannie Berlin, Blake Lively, Parker Posey, Corey Stoll,...

They will be joined by Jeannie Berlin, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice star Jesse Eisenberg, Blake Lively, Parker Posey and Ken Stott. Co-stars are Anna Camp, Stephen Kunken, Sari Lennick, and Paul Schneider. The film begins shooting on location this month in New York and Los Angeles.

As per usual with Woody Allen projects, no plot or character details were revealed at this time. The filmmaker normally doesn't reveal the title of his films until post-production, sometimes until the first trailer is officially unveiled. The director did reveal to Deadline in May that he is considering shooting this latest project on digital for the first time in his illustrious career. While it hasn't been confirmed if he will shoot on film or on digital yet, here's what he had to say in the May interview.

Joaquin Phoenix in L'homme irrationnel (2015)
Woody Allen Reveals Cast of His Next Film
Joaquin Phoenix in L'homme irrationnel (2015)
As is his wont, no plot details have shaken from Woody Allen's next picture. But, as usual, his "Irrational Man" followup will be produced by Letty Arsonson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Edward Walson. And the full cast list has dropped. Jeannie Berlin, Corey Stoll and Ken Stott now join previously announced players Parker Posey (who shines as an amorous professor in "Irrational Man"), Jesse Eisenberg, Blake Lively, Kristen Stewart and Bruce Willis. Co-stars are Anna Camp, Stephen Kunken, Sari Lennick and Paul Schneider. Casting Parker Posey again was a no-brainer. She has said she always wanted to work with the prolific director. Character actress Jeannie Berlin (of Elaine May's "The Heartbreak Kid") has never been in an Allen picture, surprisingly. Also a storied stage actress, she's fabulous in Kenneth Lonergan's film "Margaret." The film reportedly begins filming this month on location in New York and Los Angeles. Read More: The 9 Women You.

Parker Posey Reteaming With Woody Allen On Next Film
After taking on a key role in Irrational Man opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone, Parker Posey is in final negotiations to reteam with Woody Allen for the veteran helmer’s next feature.

Posey will join a cast that already includes Blake Lively, Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg and Bruce Willis. As is typical for an Allen joint, casting has been under way for months, even with Irrational Man only opening in theaters this month.

The prolific director has been putting out a movie a year for some time now, and this next one doesn’t seem to be shaping up any differently. Letty Aronson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Edward Walson are all again involved as producers.

Allen has a history of teaming with the same actors for multiple projects after taking a shine to them. Alan Alda, Alec Baldwin, Blythe Danner, Judy Davis, Mia Farrow, Scarlett Johansson, Julie Kavner, Diane Keaton,...

Kristen Stewart & Bruce Willis Join New Woody Allen Movie
Woody Allen at an event for Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008)
Bruce Willis, Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg have signed on to star in an Untitled Woody Allen Comedy. As is the case with most Woody Allen movies, no plot details were given. As Deadline points out, Woody Allen is one of the few directors who doesn't show a script to the actors he's courting, since everybody wants to work with him if they are available.

The project will reunite Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart for the third time. They first starred in the 2009 comedy Adventureland together, and they will next be seen in American Ultra, which debuts later this year although a release date has not been given yet. Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg have never worked with Bruce Willis before, and this will also be Bruce Willis' first Woody Allen movie.

Woody Allen will direct from his own screenplay, with the director's longtime collaborators Letty Aronson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Edward Walson producing.

Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart And Bruce Willis Board Woody Allen’s 2015 Flick
Along with Quentin Tarantino, New York filmmaker Woody Allen is responsible for reigniting the careers of many actors with his quirky, neurotic brand of dramedy. The prolific writer-director has churned out one feature a year for decades, each honing in on a particular aspect of the human condition brought to life through his talent-packed ensembles. While at times his output veers wildly from critical smash to critical flop, that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to attract a wealth of Hollywood big hitters.

Now, his stellar track record for A-listers looks to continues with his next flick, which will boast Bruce Willis, Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart as part of its starry line-up. Specific details of the movie are being kept strictly under wraps, with only producer credits being revealed. 'American Ultra' Stars Stewart and Eisenberg Reportedly Join Allen's Next Film Project
American Ultra stars Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg will be reunited later this year in another project: Woody Allen's next as yet untitled feature. Bruce Willis is the third cast member whose name has been publicly announced. The source for this information is an "exclusive" report via Deadline.com's Mike Fleming Jr. So far, as Fleming explains in his brief piece, Woody Allen and "his people" haven't confirmed the casting. In other words, things could change in the not-too-distant future. See also: Kristen Stewart Joins Kelly Reichardt Movie Project, also featuring Laura Dern and Michelle Williams. Colin Firth and Emma Stone in Magic in the Moonlight (2014)
"Magic in the Moonlight" isn't in theaters just yet, but Woody Allen is already hard at work on his next film, and Parker Posey and Jamie Blackley are the latest performers to join his ever-growing cast of characters. The duo will join Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone in the next "Untitled Woody Allen Project," which is currently shooting in Rhode Island. The film's plot is a mystery for now. As per usual, Letty Aronson and Stephen Tenenbaum will produce the film, which will likely be seen sometime in 2015, although no distributor is yet on board. The prolific Posey is perhaps best known for her roles in Christopher Guest's mockumentaries, including "Waiting For Guffman" and "Best in Show." She'll soon be seen in "Ned Rifle," directed by frequent collaborator Hal Hartley. She also appears in the much-maligned "Grace of Monaco," which has yet to be released in the U.S.
