Diamantis Karanastasis was born on March 2, 1974, in Larissa Greece.
His parents are both mathematicians. In 1992 he began his studies in Athens Polytechnic University (NTUA), but he dropped out after a few year to pursue his theatrical endeavors.
Diamantis has been performing in Greek theatre, cinema and TV since 1998.
His first directorial debut was with the feature film, "AIMA" (Eng. title, "My Blood"), which won 8 International awards and multiple nominations. Diamantis was involved in every corner in the artistic arc of this project, undertaking the writing, production, editing and performing one of the leading roles.
Throughout his career he has directed and created hundreds of artistic videos, promotional videos and personal film projects.
He starred in many popular Greek television series. Diamantis has also offered his voice to thousands of TV, radio and internet spots, as well as in Greek voiceover for blockbuster animation films.
