Marlena Went To Talk To Roman After Rachel’s Disclosure

After Rachel told Marlena she saw Johnny shoot his father in the episode of June 25, she went to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) to discuss Ej’s shooting.

She found out that Roman had also believed that Johnny shot Ej, based on his actions and questions about the gun he kept in Brady’s Pub.

At that point, she didn’t divulge that Rachel said she saw Johnny shoot his father, but found out Roman had covered it up, because of the circumstantial evidence.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) is acting like a traumatized little girl. However, we have to remember that this is no normal little girl.

She is the daughter of Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk). The child also already has a well-developed history of stalking and kidnapping.

Rachel Black’s History

First, let’s talk about Rachel’s history. The little girl already sent threatening text messages to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

Then, when Rachel met her grandmother, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), the two had Ava kidnapped and held hostage.

Most children, even the ones who commit bad acts, usually feel some kind of remorse, guilt, or empathy for the victim.

We have not seen this at all from Rachel.

When it was first announced that “The Young and the Restless” actor Conner Floyd (Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV) had joined the cast of “Days of our Lives” as a recast Chad Dimera, replacing Billy Flynn (now Cane Ashby on “The Young and the Restless”), reports only indicated he would appear on the daytime drama series starting sometime in April 2026. In the days following the news, his official first air date has now been announced.

According to People, Floyd will make his debut in Salem beginning with the Tuesday, April 21, 2026 episode. He taped his first scenes on Monday, June 23.

Following the announcement he had joined the Peacock exclusive, Floyd took to Instagram, saying, “See y’all in Salem!”

With news that Conner Floyd had been cast as Chad Dimera on “Days of our Lives,” former portrayer Billy Flynn, who now appears as Cane Ashby on “The Young and the Restless,” took to social media to congratulate the actor on landing the role on the Peacock exclusive series.

“Congrats @connergfloyd! Chad is [sic] great hands. You’re gonna crush it man,” said Flynn in a message posted to his Instagram story timeline.

On Monday, it was announced that Floyd, who is exiting “The Young and the Restless” as Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV after a three-and-a-half-year stint, began work at Burbank Studios, where “Days of our Lives” tapes, with the show highlighting his hiring via a post on Instagram which shows him standing in front of dressing room 18B, his new home away from home.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tony Returns & Family Drama Unfolds

Monday, June 23rd. We’ve got Tony Dimera (Thaao Penghlis) in town, and he decides to take care of something himself when he’s back. Anna Dimera (Leann Hunley) is also in town. We’re going to see Tony drinking with his brothers Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) and Ej at the Bistro. And this is before Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman) gets in deep trouble with the Salem Pd later in the week, at which point I think Ej is probably going to circle back around to his brother Tony looking for some comfort and advice.

Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) is cornered by Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) on Monday. He’s pressing her on something. Remember, she called him director.

Recently on Days of Our Lives, Sarah kicked Xander out, and now the two are headed for a custody fight over baby Victoria. She doesn’t trust his volatility, and he doesn’t trust that she’ll tell him the truth. The fight over their child only deepens the level of emotions involved. And now that young Rachel is having health issues, Sarah will be thrust down memory lane. Her portrayer, Linsey Godfrey, opened up about Sarah’s relationship with Rachel.

They Have a Deep Connection

Godfrey had a chat with Soap Opera Digest and noted that the history of Sarah and Rachel’s connection was exciting for her. In years past, Sarah and Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) baby Mickey died, but was swapped with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) child, Rachel. So Sarah spent the first year of the child’s life raising her and even managing her cancer care logistics.

With Sarah and Xander’s relationship blown to smithereens yet again – she tossed him out of the house after finding out he’d beaten his brother Philip to a pulp – it’s time for the two characters to move on in opposite directions, which means new lovers – or possibly reuniting with old ones. It’s looking like Johnny’s relationship with his father is going to be the next hurdle for Chanel and Johnny (Carson Boatman) to jump. Well, that, and the fact that Johnny shot Ej, our next question.
