There’s new stills from The White Lotus season 3, episode 5.

A few things we’re noting: It looks like Aimee Lou Wood‘s Chelsea is on the phone, presumably trying to call her boyfriend Rick (Walton Goggins), who has headed to Bangkok in search of answers about his deceased father. There are no stills from HBO of Walton‘s Rick within episode 5, so it’s either a light Rick episode, or there may be big spoilers to come.
Another notable few stills look like the Ratliff sons – Lochlan and Saxon – are partying with Chelsea and Charlotte Le Bon‘s Chloe. There’s a still where Chloe is laying back with red mood lighting. Perhaps her flirtation...

The clicking of film running through a projector and a slight wow on the pastoral soundtrack ushers in footage of “the blue hills” of The Cotswolds in 1945. It’s a beautiful area of England, replete with picturesque villages and historical monuments. However, the twee public information film stylings aren’t allowed to roll on for long and they’re interrupted – and ultimately halted – by cuts to something far more disturbing. The film becomes grainy and unfocused, the music disquieting and we’re told of of a bizarre, gruesome murder which happened on Meon Hill to one Charles Walton. Charles was reputed to be a friendly, harmless old man, yet he was battered to death with a stick, pinned to the ground with his own pitchfork and the sign of the cross was cut into his chest with his own billhook.

Do not attend the snake show if you haven't watched "The White Lotus" season 3, episode 3, "The Meaning of Dreams" — spoilers lie ahead.
In the third episode of the third season of Mike White's (supposed) anthology series about rich people behaving badly, "The White Lotus," the wealthy and cantankerous Rick (Walton Goggins) decides to leave the beautiful resort in Thailand behind for a day with his much-younger girlfriend Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) and, on a whim, decides the couple should attend a local snake show. Unfortunately for everybody but especially Chelsea, Rick bought marijuana from a dispensary nearby before going to the show, and it's clearly very strong ... strong enough to make him believe that all the snakes should be freed. When Rick starts opening all of the on-site terrariums to release the reptiles, Chelsea confronts him only to be bitten by one, at which point she's rushed to the hospital.

The chilling true story that inspired The Wicker Man is about to receive an unsettling re-examination as The Last Sacrifice makes its UK premiere at Pigeon Shrine FrightFest Glasgow 2025. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Rupert Russell, this investigative documentary delves into the notorious 1945 witchcraft murder of Charles Walton, a case that continues to haunt Britain’s cultural and cinematic history. The screening is set for March 7 at 3:30 Pm at the Glasgow Film Theatre, promising audiences an unnerving deep dive into a case steeped in folklore, paranoia, and ritualistic terror.
Walton’s brutal killing in the Warwickshire village of Lower Quinton has long been shrouded in mystery. His mutilated body, discovered near a tree with a crucifix carved into his chest, became the subject of widespread speculation. Some believed it to be a modern witch hunt; others suspected it was an occult sacrifice linked to ancient pagan traditions. The case remains officially unsolved,...

Anyone who watches “The Righteous Gemstones”, or really any of Danny McBride’s work, knows to expect a penis or two. But have you ever wondered how those penises appear on screen? McBride opened up about the whole wild process during his most recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Sons of Anarchy would feel incomplete without Walton Goggins’ amazing portrayal of Venus Van Dam. But there was a time when Kurt Sutter didn’t want the actor to be a part of the Samcro world at all.

Sometimes even the best television shows are victims of their own success, running longer than their natural story should at the expense of their overall quality. From will-they/won't-they romances fulfilled too quickly or the show trying to prolong its central conflicts and mysteries, popular shows try to artificially draw out their narratives to maintain audiences. This leaves even the most ardent fans of a given show acknowledging that there are lesser seasons missing the magic that made the series so successful. A perfect show knows when to call it quits before it overstays its welcome, but very few of them can take that hint.
Simply put, even many beloved shows just try to milk the last bit of success they can, even after enduring changes to their overarching plot or main cast. In doing so, the legacy of these prolonged series is a bit tarnished from their previous esteemed status.

Fallout increased Ella Purnell's following among gamers outside of the League of Legends fan base. The actor says playing Lucy comes with unique challenges, especially after the character lost one of her fingers.
Ella Purnell fears she would be typecast into playing characters with dead fingers. During a MegaCon Q&a panel, she admitted that's one thing she hates about her Fallout character. "That would actually be one of the worst things to happen to me," she said (per Screen Rant). "You know how annoying it is to have that finger painted on me every single day? This finger is the bane of my life. It's the worst thing." Purnell was referring to Lucy MacLean's "new" trigger finger, which was picked out of a litter of "spares" from a drawer. Few films have left an imprint on the British horror landscape quite like The Wicker Man. The 1973 classic, with its eerie folk rituals, unsettling sense of isolation, and an ending as iconic as it is horrifying, has become synonymous with the genre now known as British folk horror. But according to filmmaker Rupert Russell, the chilling tale of Sgt. Howie’s doomed investigation on Summerisle may have more grounding in reality than many realise.
In his new documentary The Last Sacrifice, which makes its UK premiere at Pigeon Shrine FrightFest Glasgow 2025, Russell embarks on a true-crime investigation into the brutal, unsolved 1945 murder of Charles Walton, an elderly farm labourer found horrifically mutilated in a Cotswolds field. His killing—described as a “slaughterhouse horror” by Scotland Yard detective Robert Fabian—sparked nationwide speculation about ritual sacrifice, occult killings, and an eerie, insular community that seemed unwilling to give up its secrets.

Before “Sing Sing” became a critical hit and awards darling, it almost failed to launch.
The film, which shows the positive impact that the real-life Rehabilitation Through the Arts (Rta) program has on a group of incarcerated men, features Colman Domingo as a playwright incarcerated after being wrongfully convicted of murder. Domingo is one of only three professional actors in the cast, which is otherwise made up alumni of the Rta program.
It’s an ambitious project by any measure, but filmmakers Clint Bentley, Greg Kwedar and Monique Walton realized — albeit a little late — that it would be near-impossible without industry support. “We just realized that about a month before we started shooting,” says Kwedar, who directed the film. “I remember having a legitimate panic attack.”

The growing popularity of streaming services and the challenges that independent films face when heading into widespread release have made it increasingly difficult for smaller titles to earn the attention that they deserve. Even if a film has a successful debut at a festival event or screening, it may take months for it to be accessible to audiences outside of the niche market. The Uninvited is a clever dramedy that earned strong responses from its debut at the SXSW film festival earlier this year but has failed to generate sustained buzz heading into the fall season. While it can be easy to overlook these sorts of micro-budget indie films when there are so many award-season contenders and potential blockbusters vying for public attention, The Uninvited is an insightful analysis of what Hollywood looks like today and features very memorable performances from Walton Goggins and Pedro Pascal.

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is mad. Devon Winters (Bryton James) understands why his sister is angry and wants to help.
Lily was used and manipulated by the Newmans. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) led her to believe she would head Chancellor, which he has yet to obtain. But Lily learned that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was his pick for that slot.
Victor requested and received insider information that derailed Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) hopes to acquire an artificial intelligence company.
Lily told the Moustache the name of the company and that Billy appeared close to acquiring it. Victor used that intel and contacted the company’s owner, which at least delayed, if not stopped, Abbott Chancellor from finalizing a deal.

The blood-thirsty hitchhiker, the escaped psycho with a hook for a hand, the babysitter and the call that is somehow unequivocally coming from inside the house; we all known them. The modern day fables that have shaped our fears and behaviours arguably more than any others. Urban legends that all seem to have sprung out of the American post-war hangover of the 1950s and ’60s, as inequality took seed and the dark side of the new white-picket-fence suburbia slowly set in off-screen. Ed Gein and Ted Bundy and the Moors Murders filled the news. Doubts about our fellow man, and about what they’re capable of. About how we very much aren’t “all in this together”; that the days of blindly trusting one another are all but over. That people, strangers in particular, are more likely to be dangerous than helpful.
And naturally, those cautionary tales bled into culture and filmmaking.

Plenty of characters have came and gone from the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch over the popular Paramount series' five-ish seasons and counting. While some have made their exit via the "train station" after making enemies of the Dutton family, a few "Yellowstone" characters with potential simply left the show for one benign reason or another. Cassidy Reid (Kelly Rohrbach), the blonde prosecutor who ran for state Attorney General in season 2 before vanishing after just four episodes, is one of them.
At the beginning of "Yellowstone" season 2, Cassidy was introduced as a potential alternative to Jamie (Wes Bentley) on the A.G. ballot, and Jamie's adoptive dad (and frequent antagonist) John (Kevin Costner) ended up backing Cassidy instead. Black sheep Jamie was initially open to double-crossing the Dutton family in a bid for a powerful position, but he eventually backed out of the election, so Cassidy won by default. Fallout producer Jeff Gardiner recently gave insight into why films such as the recent Borderlands video game adaption faltered and the hit Prime Video series became an unmitigated success. Starring premiere Hollywood talent, including Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Kevin Hart, Borderlands opened with less than stellar box office numbers and has been panned by critics, while Fallout recently received several Emmy Award nominations.
Gardiner has extensive experience in the video game genre, having worked on several Fallout titles, including Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and Wastelanders. Though the producer did not reference Borderlands explicitly on The Boss Rush Podcast, he explained that video games with compelling characters and a strong narrative provide key elements for successful adaptations. Gardiner's comments did come shortly after Borderlands' opening weekend. "You have to have compelling characters and a narrative pulling you through. Those are also the things I remember most," he said.

Fallout star Ella Purnell opens up about the specific scene that left her with big expectations for the hit video game adaptation.
Per Collider, Purnell discussed the scene in question during an appearance at FanExpo Chicago. "It was when we were filming the scene where Lucy and the Ghoul are fighting on the docks, with this giant, 15-foot, mutated salamander," Purnell said. "It was so tough. It was 100 degrees. Walton [Goggins, The Ghoul] was sweating, because he was head-to-toe in prosthetics, and he's wearing a shirt, a waistcoat, a jacket, and a hat. They could not have put him in more clothes if they tried. It was challenging."

From finding the right locations and cast to adapt its video game source material to combining visual effects and practical sets to bring Prime Video’s original story to life, developing “Fallout” into a hit TV show was a “high-wire act across the board,” Jonathan Nolan admitted.
Speaking in a behind-the-scenes featurette, exclusively debuting with TheWrap in the video below, the executive producer and director laid out how the production team’s hard work paid off. For starters, the Prime Video series became one of the streamer’s most watched titles and earned a total 16 Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
“I’m so proud of what we were able to create with an incredibly talented crew, incredibly talented cast, everyone pulling together and trying to breathe life into the idea of what Los Angeles would look like 200 years after the end of the
world,” Nolan said.

“I was actually in Bangkok and doing ‘The White Lotus,’ and right before I started working, I was at dinner. I got the day and time wrong, to be quite honest with you. I thought the announcements were coming in the next day,” the actor said. “I left dinner to go walk the streets of Bangkok, and I got a phone call saying, ‘Congratulations.’ And I literally said, ‘For what? That meal that I just had? It was the best meal that I’ve had in Bangkok, so thank you very, very much.’ They said, ‘No, Walton, you just got nominated.’ ‘A lovely surprise’ feels like an understatement. I was just overwhelmed with joy.”
