Below Deck Down Under chef, Tzarina Mace-Ralph, has revealed her thoughts on the entertainment value of season 3 without former Chief Stew, Aesha Scott. Chef Tzarina debuted in Below Deck Down Under season 2, and proved to be a quality addition to the show. Not only did she have dramatic chef meltdowns, but she was also involved in a boatmance with João Franco, which proved problematic. Now, Tzarina is set to appear again in Below Deck Down Under season 3, and she's made some interesting comments about it.
The trailer for Below Deck Down Under season 3 recently dropped, and Tzarina took the opportunity to hop on her Instagram Stories (via @tvmegafan) and give her thoughts on what level of drama viewers can expect. "It’s gonna be an insane season. They’ve got the trailer so perfect how the season was, and I think that everyone is going to be completely on the edge of their seats.

João Franco has been busy since his days on Below Deck Mediterranean. While he was on the show, João was the lead deckhand during Below Deck Med season 3 and was promoted to bosun during the following season. Captain Sandy Yawn was more than impressed with him in his first season and saw his potential as a bosun. João was honored by the praise and considered Sandy to be someone he looked up to. They developed a close friendship throughout his two seasons, one that seemed unbreakable.
While he may have excelled in his yachting skills, João did not get along with many of his crewmates. Former chief steward Hannah Ferrier called him out as a "misogynist," as he would often flirt with stewardess Kasey Cohen right in front of stew Brooke Laughton, who he was pursuing. During Below Deck Med season 3, he and Hannah often butted heads after João began dating Brooke.

Tzarina Mace-Ralph emerged as a standout personality in Below Deck Down Under season 2, where her talent and charisma captivated many who would be interested in finding out where she has been since the season wrapped up filming. The British-born native, who had worked in the yachting industry for four years before joining the series, sometimes struggled to cope with her working situation, especially with the cameras involved. The chef had so many instances where she came close to quitting due to the high pressure she was operating under.

Colin Macy-o'Toole hasn't appeared on a Below Deck Mediterranean season in over two years, but his life after the show has remained busy. During his time in the series, Colin was a deckhand who got along with almost everyone on the crew. Before he joined the reality series, Colin was a ferry captain, which is much different than working on a superyacht. He made great connections with his cast mates during seasons 3 and 4, even though he did not return for season 5.

As the season progressed, Brooke began to develop feelings for deckhand Joao Franco, who would often flirt with Brooke and Kasey. Despite his flirtation with the two stews and the drama it caused, Brooke ultimately gave Joao a chance, and the pair dated for a while both on and off the Talisman Maiton superyacht.

Jaimee should have known that Chef Tzarina was interested in Culver, and hooking up with him was a breach of girl code. Culver's jealousy and behavior were also questionable. Below Deck Down Under Season 2 features adult entertainment industry guests who brought some fun and lightheartedness to the show. Despite their demanding and slightly inappropriate requests, the adult entertainment industry guests were kind and enjoyable to be around. The addition of these guests added to the excitement and unpredictability of the show, leaving viewers curious about what future charters will bring.
Below Deck Down Under season 2, episode 8 revealed some exciting guests, contributing to the drama of the already jaw-dropping season. Joao Franco, a previous cast member from Below Deck Mediterranean, will join the crew of Below Deck Down Under as a replacement for Luke Jones. Joao had a history of feuds with his co-stars, including clashes with Aesha, Hannah, Anastasia, and Conrad on Below Deck Med. Joao's addition to the show is expected to bring more drama, considering his past behavior and conflicts with other crew members.
Joao Franco will make his Below Deck Down Under debut as the bosun replacement for Luke Jones. A few weeks since the season began, Below Deck Down Under Season 2 has already provided enough talking points to dominate the entire season. However, the dismissal of crew member Luke has been the main highlight of the season so far. The return of some Below Deck alums to the franchise will add some gloss to the show. The year 2023 started with a bang for the Below Deck franchise, as the original series celebrated a milestone tenth season. Although Below Deck season 10 ended in a blaze of glory on March 20, Bravo didn't wait too long to air another popular series from the franchise. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 returned this year.
So far, Bdsy has been a tremendous success and has produced several unforgettable moments. Nevertheless, all good things must end, and the season finale has already aired on Monday, July 10. With two more shows still to come later this year, including Below Deck Mediterranean season 8, some stars returning to the show they once appeared on would be a lovely development.

After moving her career off of the high seas to become a model and social media influencer, former Below Deck Mediterranean stew, Kasey Cohen, has found her wife in Liron Revivo. Kasey's first and only appearance on the Below Deck spin-off occurred during season 3. During this season, a love triangle formed between the lead deckhand João Franco and stews Brooke Laughton and Kasey. Taking another blow, Kasey failed to live up to the expectations set by her boss, Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier, who accused Kasey of lying on her resume. Post filming, Kasey met actress and model Liron Revivo, and the two began to date.
Sharing a wedding announcement online, Kasey wrote, "3.23.23. My love, my everything, my forever and always x."

Since leaving Below Deck Mediterranean, former bosun João Franco has continued on with his studies, working on the build of a 140 foot (43 meter) super yacht which he will soon captain, as he has just earned a master's license. João first appeared as the lead deckhand during Below Deck Med season 3. Captain Sandy Yawn took note of his dedicated work ethic and was thereby pleased to welcome João back for season 4 as her bosun, however, this season proved to be complicated, as João found himself in the middle of a love triangle and at odds with Chief Stew, Hannah Ferrier, causing season 4 to be his last.
Following the close of his time onboard Below Deck Med, João Franco has made great strides in his yachting career. "6 years of yachting, 4 years of captaining smaller vessels. Now time to raise the bar," João announced, just after posting his recent accomplishment, earning a master's license.

João was honored by the praise and considered Sandy to be someone he looks up to. They developed a close friendship throughout his two seasons, one that seemed unbreakable.
While he may have excelled in his yachting skills, João did not get along with many of his crewmates. Former chief steward Hannah Ferrier called him on several occasions a "misogynist," as he would often flirt with third stewardess Kasey Cohen right in front of second stew Brooke Laughton, who he was pursuing. During Below Deck Med season 3, he and Hannah often butted heads after João began dating Brooke.

There was an infamous love triangle on Below Deck Mediterranean season 3 between Joao Franco, Brooke Laughton, and Kasey Cohen, but fans think Joao chose wrong. This was the season of yachtmances, as this trio had competition for the most volatile relationship, and it was a tight race with Hannah Ferrier and Conrad Empson. Hannah and Joao may have been known for their blowout fights, but they are also known for both keeping the Below Deck yachtmance tradition alive.
Joao was hardly fan-favorite on the show, as many fans said they found it difficult to imagine one, much less two women would be interested in him given his actions. Though Joao ultimately chose Brooke, many fans think she would have been better with Colin Macy-o'Toole and Joao should have been with Kasey. Joao and Kasey seemed to have a stronger connection, and they even talked about her visiting him in his native Zimbabwe.
