Born amid the mountains in Germany, Kody Poisson is an actor, poet, and filmmaker classically trained at both East 15 Acting School and York University for Creative Writing and Theatre.
Early in his career, he finally sought, after some mishaps and tragedies with addiction, refuge in the prospect of being an artist inculcated by the likes of Alain C. Peterson and Kristin Linklater. Best known for his work in the New York Times Best Seller book adaptation, Monkey on a Stick, he is a multilingual creator whose practice is rooted in Lee Strasberg's Method, Linklater Voice, and Rudolf Laban's Efforts.
