Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised overseas, Ryan Christopher Haik is an American film actor, writer, director, and producer, known for his work in the horror and comedy genres. Experiencing a wide variety of cultures, religions, ethnicities, and ways of life during his formative years, he has a deep appreciation for the universal desires of the human spirit. He believes these experiences gave him an immeasurable insight into the human condition. Ryan grew up cultivating friendships with people from all over the world, which last to this day.

Ryan's love of filmmaking is only surpassed by his passion for achieving high results in the classroom. He attended Oak Grove High School and was an annual member of the Beta Club. In 2008, upon the nomination of the Oak Grove teaching staff, Ryan attended the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. He was also selected as a delegate to the 2010 Mississippi Boys State Convention. In his senior year, Ryan was awarded the Martin Luther King Humanitarian Award, presented to students who promote the ideals of Reverend King. He also received four nominations, three of those being from U.S. Senators Thad Cochran and Roger Wicker and U.S. Representative Gene Taylor, for appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. He graduated from Oak Grove High School in 2011.

In 2018, Ryan was awarded the Dr. Jack G. Shaheen Mass Communications Scholarship. This award was created to honor Arab American students who excel in media studies. In May of 2019, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree with highest honors from the University of Southern Mississippi. He continues to work in Hollywood and is pursuing a Juris Doctor degree. Ryan has resided in London, the United Kingdom; Sardinia, Italy; Manama, Bahrain; Andalusia, Spain; and Washington, D.C. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East.
