Season 2 welcomes returning cast members to its second season, including Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Aubri Ibrag, Josie Totah, Imogen Waterhouse, Mia Threapleton, Emmy Award nominee Christina Hendricks, Guy Remmers, Matthew Broome, Josh Dylan, Barney Fishwick, Amelia Bullmore, Fenella Woolgar and newcomers Leighton Meester, Greg Wise, Jacob Ifan, Grace Ambrose and Maria Almeida.

In the first season a group of fun-loving young American girls exploded into the tightly corseted London of the 1870s … setting hearts racing and kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash. Now the Buccaneers are no longer the invaders – England is their home. They’re practically running the place. Nan is the Duchess of Tintagel, the most influential woman in the country.

Boy oh boy are we excited about The Buccaneers season 2 on Apple TV+! The first season of the historical drama certainly brought with it romance, twists and turns, and big plot twists we didn't see coming. I have no doubt that the second season will be the same, and it looks so intriguing based on the trailer.

Ok, wow. Where do I begin? Well, Nan and Theo are in honeymoon bliss. At least, Theo is. Nan, not so much. She's clearly trying to put Guy behind her and forget about him, though it's much easier said than done.

The full trailer for Season 2 of Apple TV+’s period drama The Buccaneers has arrived, and it teases more sisterhood, romance, love affairs, bold declarations, bright gowns, breathtaking landscapes and a plot twist or two.

The second season welcomes series newcomer Leighton Meester, whose character Nell can be seen at the end of the clip asking Christina Hendricks’ Patricia St. George to introduce her to Kristine Frøseth’s Nan St. George.

“Theo and I are happy,” Nan says at the beginning of the clip. “I’m in this for life.”

This declaration comes after Nan had to make a difficult decision and marry Theo (Guy Remmers), Duke of Tintagel, so that her flame Guy Thwarte (Matthew Broome) could help Nan’s sister Ginny (Imogen Waterhouse) escape from her abusive husband Lord James Seadown (Barney Fishwick).

“Duster” was produced in association with Warner Bros. Television, with the eight episodes dropping weekly through the finale on July 3. The first two episodes are written by Abrams and Morgan, with Abrams and Rachel Rusch Rich executive producing for Bad Robot while Morgan executive produces for TinkerToy Productions.
