Afro’s Laid-Back Camp series has been one of the pillars of the iyashikei genre, as you probably know. This series provided people with a lovely, stress-free environment, giving them a way to escape their daily worries.
But, as we’ve reported, Afro’s other series, mono, was also adapted in anime format recently and the series was quite a hit among fans of the genre, despite being very short in its duration.

The official website for Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance , an upcoming 3Dcg anime spin-off series to the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, has announced eight main voice cast members for its Japanese dub. The protagonist Iria Solari is voiced by Nanako Mori , who was recently cast as Cagalli Yula Athha in the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom movie (2024) in place of the character's original cast in the Mobile Suit Gunam Seed TV series, Naomi Shindo. "I am very happy and honored to be able to play the role of Iria Solari in the Japanese dub version, and at the same time, I feel a sense of fate, or perhaps a connection, to be involved in the Gundam project in this way," said Mori.
