Wrote some of Xuxa's hits, besides working as a screenwriter of the TV shows and specials for several years. Xuxa's introductory commentaries from Xuxa Park (1994) were also conceived by Pearl.

Dislikes Xuxa Popstar (2000), particularly its inclusion of top Brazilian singers of its time for the sake of popularity.

Started to work with and Marlene Mattos and Xuxa still in Clube da Criança (1983), before their career breakthrough in Xou da Xuxa (1988).
