Cristian Lavin

In his teenage years, Cristian (AKA: KIC) was a pioneer of Australian Hip Hop and the first and youngest solo Rap Artist to be signed to Sony Music/Columbia records in the early 1990's with his first smash hit single 'Bring Me On' in 1992. During a successful music career working and touring with Mc Hammer, Young Mc, New Kids on the Block, Bobby Brown, Kevin Antunes ( Musical director for Madonna)amongst many others. Entered the Pop Charts at number 3 in Singapore, Number 6 in Hong Kong with his second single 'The Right Way. At an early age of 14 years old, Cristian discovered that he had a great appreciation for the silver screen and begun to develop his path as a professional actor while appearing in several major TV Shows and films, totaling over 30 projects he has done alongside actors like the late Heath Ledger, Abby Cornish, Geoffrey Rush, Richard Roxburgh, Noah Taylor Chris Hemsworth and many others and working with seasoned directors such as Neil Armfield, Peter Andrikidis, Matthew Reilly, Kriv Stenders, Rachel Ward, etc. Cristian is a prolific screenwriter with many scripts written in particular his latest called 'The Ascendants'. Cristian is based in Sydney and London.
