Makers of ‘The Buckingham Murders’ Release recreation of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s iconic Song ‘Yaad Reh Jaati Hai’
Image
In an unprecedented move, the makers of ‘The Buckingham Murders’ have released a poignant song, “Yaad Reh Jaati Hai,” after the film’s debut. This release taps into the nostalgia of the original song from Kareena Kapoor Khan’s ‘Bewafa’, which made waves back in 2005, and the melodious recreation in ‘The Buckingham Murders’ is now resonating beautifully with audiences. Its emotional depth makes it a perfect fit for a film like this.

The makers of the film revealed the song, titled “Yaad Reh Jaati Hai” on their official social media handle.

Typically, promotional songs are released prior to a film’s launch to give an edge to the film’s momentum. However, the team behind ‘The Buckingham Murders’ chose a different approach, believing in the high quality of the film’s content and recognizing it as a slow-burn narrative that thrives on word-of-mouth buzz. The decision to release it later...

“The Buckingham Murders: Hansal Mehta-Kareena Kapoor’s Intriguing Whodunit” – A Subhash K Jha Review
Image
Kareena is blissfully unaware of her power as an actor. In Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders she plays Jaspreet Bhamra a police detective grieving for her little son who dies in freak shooting.

Not that she is not aware of her own power. Oh no! KKK knows exactly what she is worth in the market. And she charges what she thinks she deserves: not a penny more not a penny less. But Kareena Kapoor Khan values the wrong aspects of her brilliance. It’s like paying attention to the topfloor restaurant in the Eiffel Tower rather than the monument itself, just because it is economically viable.

Kareena’s is not the usual Bollywood-walla sar-patak-patak-ke grieving woman. She is a woman who is numbed by grief. She won’t give the men around her the pleasure to gloat over her misery.

It is a pleasure to watch Kareena exude so...

Kareena Kapoor’s decision to postpone her event at Lido Cinemas demonstrates her commitment to supporting her friends during a time of mourning. The event, initially scheduled for September 12, has been rescheduled to allow her to be with Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora as they cope with their father’s passing. It’s heartwarming to see such solidarity in the face of personal loss.

Kareena and her sister Karisma’s presence at the Aroras’ home reflects the deep friendships they share, often seen together at social events and supporting each other through life’s ups and downs. The postponement of the event, though unfortunate for fans and film promotions, highlights the importance of standing by loved ones in times of need.
