David Beatty received his BA in Theater from Adams State University and MFA from the University of California, Davis. He has been working in theater, film, TV and new media for over 30 years and has performed all over the United States at national repertory companies, storefront theaters, touring companies and more. On stage David has appeared in many productions including the US Premiere of Mark Ravenhill's The Cut and the US Premiere of Love and Money by Dennis Kelly. He has written and created dozens of original projects through his production company, Double Yellow Line Films. David has been a teacher of acting, screenwriting and directing at UC Davis, Rude Guerrilla Theater Company and helped coordinate acting, screenwriting and performance workshops with the LA based film collective We Make Movies.
In addition David also works in ceramics, painting and photography. He loves to cook, build his own furniture, hike though the redwoods of northern California and travel whenever possible.
