Netflix’s My Life with the Walter Boys series creator, showrunner, and executive producer Melanie Halsall describes season two of the coming-of-age series as bigger and better than the first. “We’ve got massive set pieces in each episode, and the stories are more intricate. We found our feet with our characters, [and] the actors really understand their characters now,” offered Halsall in an interview with Tudum. “When I was coming back, I was excited to start shooting again because I knew we had great stories to tell.”

Netflix released the first batch of photos from the upcoming second season, but hasn’t announced a confirmed premiere date. All the streamer is promising is that season two will debut this summer.

After leaving Silver Falls following Alex’s love confession and her kiss with Cole, Jackie Howard spent the summer in New York City. When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie is determined to make amends with Alex and set boundaries with Cole while finding her place within the Walter family.

But fitting back in isn’t that easy. Alex, who changed a lot over the summer, isn’t too thrilled about Jackie’s attempts to reconnect, as he’s focused on training for a risky rodeo event (and enjoying all of the new attention he’s getting).

Meanwhile, Cole takes on a new role at school, but when that doesn’t quite fill the void left by not playing football, his old ways...

Goodness, Netflix is about to deliver the drama. Sure, the streaming giant has already brought us a bunch of drama and thrillers in the first half of 2025, but Netflix has scheduled even more for the rest of the year.

Will all the following be released? They are supposed to be. One already has a release date, but the rest do not.

I’m not sure there are many people that even remember the Wes Craven-produced film The Breed from 2006. Boasting performances from Michelle Rodriguez and Oliver Hudson, it came and went without much fanfare. Which makes it the perfect candidate for a reboot! Updating the story to be about influencers heading to an island, things go awry when the dogs on the island start attacking them. Because if there’s one group of people I’d love to see get attacked by rabid dogs: it’s influencers.

I chatted with directors Nathan and Griff Furst about the challenges of filming in Guatamala that included nearly everyone on the cast/crew getting sick. Page Kennedy (who will always be Radon Randell from Blue Mountain State to me) was very transparent about how he went to bat for his character. And Riele Downs gets into how the dogs were actually much nicer...

A Breed Apart (2025) is a creature horror flick written and directed by The Furst Brothers. It follows a group of social media influencers who end up on an island for a competition, hoping that would change their lives for the better. Instead, it puts them in more misery and excruciating pain as they need to fight off a bunch of canines, thirsty for their blood. So, it becomes a survival horror thriller flick where these celebrities try their best to make it out alive. In the end, some of them manage to leave the island, whether dead or alive.

Late A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Last House on the Left and Scream director Wes Craven was responsible for some of the most iconic movies, characters and moments in horror cinema, but he was also behind his share of duds, and one of 'em is getting a (very) loose remake.

Craven didn't actually direct 2006's The Breed, but he was a producer on the film, and recruited his A New Nightmare assistant director Nick Mastandrea to helm. The movie was not well-received (to say the least), so it was generally assumed that a remake could only be an improvement.

The original movie focused on two brothers and their friends travelling to an island cabin they inherited from their recently deceased uncle for a relaxing weekend getaway. The group is then besieged by genetically enhanced dogs bred to kill via an abandoned training facility on the Island. A Breed Apart...

Set for a theatrical, digital, and on-demand release on May 16, the carnage-filled horror comedy is the latest to come from brotherly directorial duo, Griff and Nathan Furst — known collectively as The Furst Brothers. Many fans noticed that Charlotte did not make an appearance in Henry Danger: The Movie, leading to questions about where she is and if Riele Downs (the actress who portrays Charlotte) will ever return to the franchise.

The Henry Danger movie was a major release for the Dangerverse. After Henry Danger and Danger Force aired on Nickelodeon from 2014-2020 and 2020-2024, respectively, the recently released film was the first feature in the franchise.

The Henry Danger movie has performed extremely well since its premiere. It debuted on both Nickelodeon and Paramount+ (where it is still streaming), and even held down the number one spot in the streaming service's top 10 movies for a few days, causing many to wonder what that could mean for a potential sequel.

Back in June 2024, we learned that Fall stars Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currey would be starring in an upcoming remake of the natural horror film The Breed. Well, guess who just joined the cast? Scream star Hayden Panettiere! She, along with several others, will be starring alongside Gardner and Currey in the new horror film.

Wait! We need to clear some things up about this movie first. It's not actually a remake. It was initially believed to be one, but instead, it's a sequel to The Breed. It's also been given an official title, A Breed Apart.

Exclusive: Lifetime has revealed its January and February movie slate that includes a ripped from the headlines movie about catfishing and another about multigenerational eating disorders. There’s also a flick abouta new mom who searches for the truth bout her missing newborn and another about the abduction of a Philadelphia nurse’s aide at the hands of a homicidal predator.

Inspired by real events, Girl in the Video follows the story of widowed mother Mo, whose daughter Krissy has begun chatting online with a closet predator who ends up kidnapping her and exploiting her in sexually abusive live streams on the dark web.

Girl in the Video airs Jan. 13 and is produced by ITN Productions for Lifetime. Ian Russell serves as executive producer. The film is written by Matthew Broughton and Neil Rawles directs.

“Bel-Air” has been renewed for Season 3 at Peacock.

The dramatic reboot of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” is currently airing its second season on the streamer, with the season finale set to run on April 27. This marks the first official renewal for the show, as it was originally picked up for two seasons back in 2020.

Like the sitcom version, “Bel-Air” follows a teenager named Will (Jabari Banks), who moves from West Philadelphia to live with his auntie and uncle in the titular posh Los Angeles neighborhood.

Along with Banks, Season of the series also stars Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones and Simone Joy Jones. Tatyana Ali, who played the original Ashley Banks in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” appeared in Season 2 in a recurring guest role.

Exclusive: Peacock has rounded out the recurring cast for Season 2 of Bel-Air with newcomer Al-Shabazz Jabateh (Prime Day Show), Nicholas Duvernay (Purple Hearts), Diandra Lyle (Secrets of Sulphur Springs), Justin Cornwell (The Umbrella Academy) and Reno Wilson (Good Girls).

Bel-Air, based on Morgan Cooper’s popular fan film that reenvisions the 1990s Will Smith sitcom The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air as a drama, hails from Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s Westbrook Studios and Universal Television, part of Universal Studio Group. In its first season, it became Peacock’s most streamed original series.

Set in modern-day America, Bel-Air follows Will’s (Jabari Banks) complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. As these two worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.

NBC’s Grand Crew will reassemble for Season 2 on Friday, March 3 at 8:30/7:30c, the network announced on Thursday.

In the new episodes of the hangout comedy, “Noah, Nicky, Sherm, Anthony, Wyatt and Fay continue navigating the ups and downs of life and love while finding humor in it all, always leaning on each other along the way,” per the official synopsis. “They unpack it all at their favorite wine bar because everything is way more fun when you’re with your crew.”

The culture shock Will experienced when he made the move from West Philadelphia to a gated mansion in Los Angeles wouldn’t phase Saweetie for a second. The rapper is set to ease into the drama series Bel-Air when it returns to Peacock on Feb. 23 for a second season, making a cameo as herself in the first episode.

Rap star Saweetie is set to make a cameo in the Season 2 premiere of “Bel-Air” at Peacock, Variety has learned exclusively. In addition, three actors have been cast in the series in recurring roles.

Brooklyn McLinn, Jazlyn Martin, and Riele Downs will all appear in the new season of the drama series take on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

Saweetie will appear as herself in the show. It will not be her first time acting onscreen, as she previously appeared in multiple episodes of the “Black-ish” spinoff “Grown-ish” at Freeform during the show’s third season.

McLinn will play Doc Hightower, described as “a busy and driven basketball recruiter and Aau Coach who is impressed by Will’s game at Bel-Air Academy.” Martin will play Jackie. Nicole Maines’ character in “Darby and the Dead” is a lot of things. She’s quick-witted, addicted to texting, absolutely brutal in her insults — and she just happens to also be trans. That wasn’t always going to be the case, but, according to Maines and director Silas Howard, the opportunity to have that representation came too naturally to pass up.
