Sam Baron
Sam Baron is a writer and director based in London. He won the Academy of Motion Pictures Nicholl Fellowship award for his screenplay "The Science Of Love", which was also on the Brit List. His short film "The Orgy", starring Amit Shah and Alexandra Roach, played at film festivals worldwide, and he is now developing it as a TV series with Sony. His short films have millions of views online and have been featured by Vimeo, Indiewire and Short Of The Week. Beyond shorts, he's written for TV shows including the BBC's "Chloe", and Netflix's "Lockwood & Co" and "The Undertow", as well as developing his own original shows with Sky Comedy, Netflix and the BBC. He got his start as a YouTube creator in the mid-2000s, and has also worked in development at Ealing Studios, as a script reader for the BBC, and in production on series including "The Hour" and "Mr Selfridge".

      'Can You Survive a Week in Paradise?' - This feature film directed by Sam Baron and written by Sam Baron and Raphael von Blumenthal premiered at the Cambridge Arts Picturehouse on April 24th 2004. It is currently available on DVD although never received a full theatrical release.
