Biography

Mark Knight is one of Australia's most recognized and awarded political and editorial cartoonists. He is celebrated for his sharp wit, distinctive drawing style, and his ability to capture the essence of political events and figures. He began his career with a cadetship at The Sydney Morning Herald in 1980 and later became a political cartoonist for The Australian Financial Review in 1984, before joining the Herald and Weekly Times in Melbourne in 1987. Mark is currently the editorial cartoonist for the Herald Sun in Melbourne, a position he has held since the newspaper's merger in 1990. His cartoons are a daily fixture in the publication, offering a visual commentary on the day's news.
