Biography

Born and bred in Brooklyn, NY, with a desire to kick her legs up like the dancers on the Red Skelton Show. Reality check: the middle child of a single mother, well she was finally able let loose dancing all night at the Paradise Garage. The love of theatre came after seeing Irene Cara in the play "The Me Nobody Knows". A little unsure of herself to audition for the Performing Arts HS, she attended the HS of Fashion Industries. Then on to FIT, where a class in TV production, lead to a career with FOX-TV for 38 years. During that time, started taking acting classes from a friend's suggestion. Studied at HB Studios, Esper Studios. Studied with Vera Katz, Martin Blank, Matt Corozine and others. Have been in productions with the Tyler Perry Studio (BET+), HBO, independent films and local plays in the DC area. Retired from TV now with more time to audition, perform, and play with her grandsons. She can Kick her legs as far as they will go, play dress up to express the art in her and show love in hope it gives the audience just what they need in that moment.
