Marjorie Clifton
Marjorie Clifton is an American actress, media personality and TV news host. She was born and raised in Texas, oldest of five children, her father is a doctor and her mother works in ministry and advocacy. Marjorie was drawn to the stage at an early age, selected to theatrically narrate school wide events, and performing with her Girls Scout mime troop "the Unherd".

She then attended St. Agnes Academy, a Catholic all-girls high school in Houston, where she was a swimmer and water polo player, and was discovered by an agent who began booking her in local and national television commercials and advertisements for brands such as Home Depot, Chevrolet and Macy's. She went on to work in New York in the summers modeling and performing - appearing in 17 Magazine, YM, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Fitness Magazines. She continued appearing in ads throughout college at the University of Texas where she earned a degree in Communications and Spanish.

Marjorie began her professional career working in technology startups, but providing voiceover for video games, corporate videos and ads, and presenting at large scale conferences and appearing in media interviews. She later pursued her Master's Degree at Drama Studio London, which produced other prestigious actors such as Forest Whitaker and Emily Watson. While in London she performed in productions of Midsummer Night's Dream, The Provoked Wife, Sleep with Me, Plenty, our Town and a touring production of Mousella. She later returned to Austin, Texas to perform at the State Theater in Sonny's Last Shot with GW Bailey and directed by Will Wallace.

Marjorie continued a professional career in communications and built a consulting business in Washington DC, where she worked with large global brands, political organizations and in cause-based advocacy. In that capacity she began a ten year career in news media appearing weekly on global news outlets including CNN, Fox, PBS, MSNBC, ABC and CTV. She also appeared regularly in corporate videos and as voiceover talent in far reaching products, productions and events. She continues appearing regularly as a public speaker, media personality and television commentator.

Marjorie's film debut was in 2006, when she appeared in Cake: A Wedding Story, a feature directed by Will Wallace, and award winner at the Venice Film Festival.
